Vice-President Elect: David Muñoz-Sarabia

Pronouns: He/Him/His

Hey guys, I'm David! I'm a first generation college student double majoring in Political Science and Digital Retailing. I am currently a manager at an American Eagle and understand the struggles of working and being a full-time student. I came to UNT with the intention to become a high-school math teacher, however, life took me in a different direction. I'm a very big people person (that's the Leo in me!), and I really care about people's stories and what made them unique. During my time at UNT, I've had the pleasure of being involved in various areas of campus life. Here's a small part of the big passion I have for UNT:

Current Involvement

  • Secretary of the Latinx-Hispanic Student Union

  • Senator of the College of Merchandising, Hospitality, and Tourism

  • Co-Chair of the Internal Senate Committee

  • Co-Chair of the SGA External Disability Inclusion Committee

  • Member of the SGA External Queer, Trans, BIPOC Advocacy Group Committee

  • Ambassador for the College of Science

Past Involvement

  • Senator of the College of Science

  • Secretary of the Student Senate

  • Coordinator of Outreach for Joe Greene Hall (RHA)

  • Teach North Texas

Campaign Manager: Casey Jimenez

Hello, I'm Casey Jimenez, I came to UNT in 2018 pursuing a B.S. in Emergency Administration and Planning with a minor in Public Administration. I lived on campus for 2 years in Tradition's Hall and Mozart Square, really getting to know and understand the resident life on-campus. This past year I was elected to represent the College of Health and Public Service as a Senator.

Senior Advisor: Asia Youngs-Bailey

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Asia Youngs-Bailey is an interdisciplinary and socially engaged artist from Houston, Texas. She is currently pursuing her B.F.A in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography, and a minor in ANtrhopology. She has been involved in multiple organization including the Student Government Association (SGA), the Black Student Experience, and Alternative Service Breaks to name a few. Asia's involvement with the SGA started in 2018 when her role as a servant leader began to evolve. From there, she realized that her actions as a Senator for the College of Visual Arts and Design (CVAD) needed to be intentional. That year, Asia founded The Art Closet, which is a program that aims to provide access to free art supplies to visual arts and design students. Although her last term as a Senator was in Spring 2020, her work with The Art Closet continues today, as she plans to expand the program into a nonprofit organization. During her time on campus, Asia hopes to inspire others to lead by actions and be advocates for change.

Hi I'm Lily Belknap! I'm a freshman and a Media Arts major here at UNT. I chose this school not only because of their amazing programs, but also the amazing facilities that I'm excited to use in the future! The campus has such a close nit community that is so great to be a part of. I've known since I toured here for the first time that UNT was where I wanted to go to school.
