A screenplay isn't just the blueprint for a movie yet to be produced; it's the very foundation upon which that movie must be built. A famous axiom is that "casting is 90% of directing," but without a screenplay you have no project. Whether you're a screenwriter, a director, a producer, an actor developing your own projects, or an author demonstrating that your IP has motion picture potential, a professionally written screenplay will help move your project forward.
My name is Gregory Lamberson and I'm an award-winning author and filmmaker available to write, ghostwrite, rewrite, doctor, edit, format, or analyze feature-length screenplays for clients at affordable rates.
I'm a member of the Producers Guild of America and International Thriller Writers and have four decades of experience as an independent filmmaker. I've written dozens of screenplays for myself and dozens more for others. I'll write a professional and engaging screenplay based on your general concept, story treatment, outline, story, novella or novel. I also analyze screenplays and identify weaknesses which require attention.
I'm a writer, not an agency: when you hire me to write a screenplay I do all the work myself, I don't assign it to another screenwriter. You're paying for my knowledge, experience and ability, and that's what you'll receive. You'll deal with me every step of the way.
I don't belong to the Writers Guild of America, so I can charge nonunion rates substantially more affordable than those mandated by the guild. For example, the minimum fee for the first draft of an original screenplay at WGA rates is $51,290 under their low budget agreement; I charge 10% - 15% of that, depending on complexity and desired length, and include revisions in my fee.
I write in all genres and at all budget levels. I don't utilize A.I. or "fix" screenplay drafts written with A.I. If you've already gone down that path you probably realize what a mistake it was, and I advise you to start over from scratch.
I work in Final Draft, the industry standard.
