In addition, Teams meeting recordings are no longer saved to Microsoft Stream. All meeting recordings are now saved to OneDrive and SharePoint. So we need to make sure if you are schedule channel meeting or non-channel meeting. For channel meetings, the recording will be stored in a Recordings folder in the Files tab for the channel. For non-channel meetings, the recording will be stored in the Recordings folder in the OneDrive directory of the person who started the recording.

You will get a list of options there from the live event invite itself. The recording is the first option available in the list. You will need to click on the down-arrow button to start the download.

Another interesting option in the recording table below is the expiry date of the recording for the Teams Live Event. I think the recording will get deleted or removed after that day. The default policy in Teams recording expiry policy is 1 year.

Teams video recordings may be set to expire, sending the video to the recycling bin for 90 days before deletion. Follow these steps to modify the video's expiration settings from a Teams site channel post.



Has anyone else faced the same issue? If so, how have you resolved it? Please note that I am able to use the default recording app on other android phones (such as Samsung). I am only facing this issue with One+.

This is part of the longer term roadmap for Microsoft Stream. Whilst video content can be uploaded to Stream Classic, this service will be retired completely in March 2024. Our Teams meeting recordings however, have been automatically stored in SharePoint or OneDrive since July 2021. Any video content remaining in Stream Classic which needs to be retained can be migrated and we're working on plans and support for content owners to help them decide which videos to retain.

Microsoft state that they are making this change as a part of larger changes to Microsoft Stream. Moving automatic upload of Teams meeting recordings to OneDrive and SharePoint will make it easier for users to share recordings with external users. The change will also better integrate Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, and bring compliance-based document management and simplicity for our users.

Whether the recording is saved in OneDrive or SharePoint depends on if the meeting was scheduled as a channel meeting or not. Note that this process is automatic, and administrators cannot change where the recording is saved.

To have captions and transcripts be available, make sure that transcription starts when you start recording your Teams meeting. If transcription does not start, click "More options" on the meeting bar and select "Start transcription".

All Teams meeting recordings are automatically stored into Stream on SharePoint since July 2021 and this is our default platform if you navigate from the Office 365 web portal. If you uploaded videos to Stream Classic, those will be available for migration before March 2024 - ISG Apps Service Management are currently finalising our process to support you with this and resources will be published in November / December 2021. This will give content owners three months to save their video contents to keep in Stream on SharePoint.

ACCESS TO RECORDINGS and TRANSCRIPTIONS: Please be advised that Teams Recordings and Transcriptions are only retained for 20 days in Azure Media Services. If you initiated the recording and are provisioned for OneDrive for Business, the file will be automatically moved to your OneDrive after 20 days for longer term storage.

That said, we generally recommend that you have upload speeds of at least 1 mbps (1 megabit per second, or about 125 kilobytes per second). If you have a long recording and slow internet speeds, it's possible that your connection will time out. Try searching for a bandwidth speed test online and see what kind of upload speeds you have. If they're particularly slow, try to upload your videos on a network with faster speeds; going to campus might be a good option.

You may encounter the issue that you are unable to find your Kaltura Capture recording in your Canvas course, and for some reason the recording isn't available with the application to re-upload using Kaltura Capture. Luckily, the application stores files on your computer as a backup, which won't disappear until you delete them yourself. These instructions will walk you through how to locate and manually upload these files.

UITS recommends backing up recordings stored on your local computer to one of IU's file storage systems. You can also upload the converted MP4 video file to Kaltura. This is very convenient for sharing, but will not preserve the chat transcript.

Will I be able to see and review my video responses?  You will only be able to watch your practice responses. We recommend watching your practice responses to make sure the lighting and sound quality are good before you start your interview. During your actual interview, you will not be able to watch your responses. If the position you are interviewing for allows for retries, Target will only see the final recording that you submit.

Once you log into your SXDirect account and go to My Catalog > Submit Recordings, you will be asked to select the SRCO entity for whom you are submitting and then complete a three-step submission process for each recording

After enabling S3 Object Lock on existing buckets, you have the option to set a default S3 Object Lock retention mode and period for all new objects uploaded to the bucket. Tape Gateway, a cloud-based virtual tape library feature of AWS Storage Gateway, now integrates with S3 Glacier Deep Archive, enabling you to store your virtual tape-based, long-term backups and archives in S3 Glacier Deep Archive, thereby providing the lowest cost storage for this data in the cloud.
