All of us find it hard to think clearly when we are emotional. Remember the Emotions lesson? Thoughts affect feelings, so it's important to recognise when we are not thinking clearly so we can challenge our thoughts and take control of our feelings. Psychologists recognise ten really common ways we can think badly. Everyone does some of these some of the time, but if you feel like this is you a lot of the time don't worry, there are lots of ways to make changes. If any of this is making you feel worried, talk it over with an adult you trust.
