How many things are you doing right now? Stop and count.

Can you pat your head and rub your tummy and say the alphabet backwards at the same time?
Most of us try to do lots of different things at the same time, and our brains just don't work that way.
Science has shown that our brains can physically only do one task at a time, so when we think we are multi-tasking, What we are really doing is 'task-switching' moving very quickly from one task to another. When we task-switch we are actually applying less brain power to everything!
When you are trying to think through something complicated, its important to focus on it completely. We call this uni-tasking.
