About Us

STACEY NELSON

I am an elementary PE teachers from St. Francis, Minnesota. I have taught Health and PE (K - 8) for over 25 years. I have a Masters in "Integrating Technology Into the Classroom" and have used that degree to train teachers across the country how to effectively use technology as a powerful tool in their classroom.

I have coached Football, Wrestling, & Track throughout my career and currently coaching the Pole Vault for Cambridge High School.

I am also helping to implement Positive Behavior Interventions & Support (PBIS) into our school wide class management system.

My latest interest has been in helping to train the next generation of PE Teachers. Thus, the desire to create a place where seasoned teachers share not only their favorite games, but the vast number of other teacher tools they use to make a great classroom.

JAMIE STUDNICKA

I was a undergraduate of UW-LaCrosse and earned a Masters from St. Mary's University. My teaching career started in ISD #15 St. Francis. I taught all age groups in St. Francis and developed a passion for elementary. After 13 years I took a new position in ISD #112 Eastern Carver County which was closer to my home in Chanhassen.

I have coached basketball and football. I have also lead in the development of PBIS and EnVOY classroom management systems. I have been on numerous district wide committees and served on contract negotiations.

I have felt a draw to professional development and helping other teachers. My first student teacher ignited this fire. Her energy and enthusiasm was contagious. It was the joy and optimism that we all start with that fed my drive to give back.

Away from education I find myself traveling with my family and doing anything outside. I love being active. My interest range from running, skiing, weight lifting, and sports. In the summer I have been spotted climbing trees for a tree company.
