I'm Economist and Scientific Advisor at DIW Berlin (Firms and Markets Department). I'm also an external Postdoc at the University of Copenhagen and visiting lecturer at Goethe-University Frankfurt a.M. 

My research investigates firm behavior with a focus on labor (re-)allocation and international economics, and extends to questions related to industrial policy, productivity, and inequality. Fields are labor, international, and development economics.

I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from Kiel University (2021). Between 2022 and 2025, I worked as a Senior Economist at the German Council of Economic Experts. Earlier, I took part in the IMF’s Fund Internship Program (in 2020) and visited Yale University’s Department of Economics on invitation of Professor Samuel Kortum in 2019.
