August 2025 - December 2025
Reverse engineered a commercial can opener, performed FEA-based stress analysis, applied GD&T, and produced complete manufacturing drawings.
December 2022
Designed a gear box having two interlinked planetary gear systems with helical gear teeth. The sun, planets, and ring gear teeth are calculated and chosen to have a final output gear ratio of 85:1. So it has a torque multiplier of 85 and is suitable for heavy payload operations in robotic arms.
A comprehensive working drawing package was developed, including a Bill of Materials (BOM), detailed 2D and orthogonal views, exploded assembly diagrams, and GD&T.
Then, the components are 3D printed and assembled to get a plastic prototype as shown in the photo below.
Please see the Working Drawing Package here.

Participated in the Singapore Space Challenge 2021, where our team designed a complete lunar rover system capable of operating in the extreme thermal and terrain conditions of the Moon. The concept included a robotic arm with a drilling mechanism for penetrating the lunar regolith to search for subsurface water, supporting in-situ resource utilization (ISRU) objectives.
February 2023
A working prototype of a Torsen Differential is entirely designed and 3D printed to study.
May 2022
Worked as a freelance CAD and product designer.
Designed the CAD models according to client's specifications and produced the products using 3D printed and laser cut parts, for projects ranging through decorative items, research study, and internationally market oriented products.
