About me
About me
I am a Research Fellow at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies. Prior to joing the GIGA, I received my Doctor from the University of Konstanz.
I study economic sanctions, military alliances, international institutions, and the geopolitical order through the econometric analysis of (big) data. I leverage causal inference frameworks, panel analysis, machine learning models, and social network analysis in my research.
In my dissertation, I study how military alliances shape economic sanctions. It was funded by a grant from the Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft (SDW).
I am also dedicated to developing courses that foster both academic and personal growth in students.
