About me
About me
I am a Research Fellow at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt. Prior to joining PRIF, I was a Research Fellow at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies and received my doctorate from the University of Konstanz.
I study economic sanctions, military alliances, international institutions, and the geopolitical order through the econometric analysis of (big) data. I leverage causal inference frameworks, panel analysis, machine learning models, and social network analysis in my research.
In my dissertation (funded by the Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft), I studied how military alliances shape economic sanctions. Beyond my research, I am dedicated to developing courses that foster both academic and personal growth in my students.
