Huh?
"Huh? You want me to deliver this for you?" I asked, holding a slender long box in my hand while looking at it in a puzzled way
My teacher looked at me with a sheepish gaze as he nodded, giving an affirmative to my question
After training, Tai had just walked up to me with this thing in his hands and request me to deliver it to someone he knows. The question as to the content of the box went unanswered by him, much to my suspicion and curiosity, Judging from it's shape and weight, I guess this thing contain a sword in it, though I'm still not sure
"Well, I was gonna do it myself, but my back pain has been getting worse lately..." Tai averted his eyes "Plus, Summer and Ruby needs someone to take care of them, and there's no way in hell I'm leaving you alone with my prepubescent daughter..."
"What?"
"What?"
I shook my head exasperatedly
"As if someone like you could ever get a back pain, teacher" I kid you fucking not, this guy is already over 40 and could still give Yujiro Hanma a run for his money. The chances of him having back pain is the same as that of me being Salem's child
"Ah, you got me. I'm just too lazy to actually go there myself" he chuckled whole-heartedly, patting me on the back "I promise when you get back, I'll make give you something as payment, okay?"
"Don't worry, I'm going to accept it anyway. No need to bribe me"
I checked the map on my hand once again, noting my current position and marking my destination with an X
"The journey's going to take me at least 3 days. Just let me pack my stuffs and I'll go right now" That response earned me a raised eyebrow from him
"You're not gonna take a break?"
I shrugged "The faster I return, the faster I can continue my training"
It's just a 3-day journey. Just what could possibly go wrong?
It's not like anything bad will happen to me or something

I hummed as I checked the status screen, my hands brandishing the knife on my lap
It's been more than two weeks since I've arrived into this world, and now I've recently broke through level 10, unlocking yet another batch of interesting abilities I have yet to master
Let's make a summary of what I managed to do in that time
First off, I've been practicing with Summer and Tai now. She had agreed to postpone my training on the Concentrated Breathing Technique and started with the basics to her swordstyle first, as to not let me be confused. As the result, I managed to learn it in 5 days.
The training with Tai has gone smoothly as well. With his help, I broke through Beginner's rank and finally ascend into the Intermediate-tier, this one finally have some interesting perks to it
Secondly, I unlock [Appraisal] at level 8, which allows me to view an item's stats (durability, Damage, quirks...etc) without testing them. As a bonus, the user can also develop instinctual knowledge regarding the items they uses before they even use it, meaning an innate talent for wielding weapons
It's a convenient skill, as one can have a firm grasp of their weapon's state easily, so I've made sure to grind the hell out of that thing. The result paid off, and now it's my highest-level ability yet among the bunch
At current level, I could instantly recognize a strange weapon and know how to use it effectively at first glance. In other words, a high degree of weapon mastery is stored into my brain as I leveled up this skill. The longer I train, the faster and more efficient I can fight with those things
Upon reaching level 9, I unlocked [Bonding]
Yes, as the name suggests...it allows me to bond with an item at my choosing
A bonded item will have twice the durability, twice the damage, and a chance to turn it into a [Special Weapon], thus effectively making it far more deadlier than it's unbounded counterpart. But the downside is that it'll be stuck in your inventory until it's durability ran out, or else you'll have to carry it beside you forever
So yeah, not entirely OP, but useful nonetheless. I only have to be careful in my choice of weapon to bond and things should be fine
And at last, I unlocked [Item Creation] at level 10, coupled with the appearance of [Job Classes]
The former is obviously self-explanatory, I can produce an adequate item out of materials provided beforehand, usually from using [Dematerialization] on random objects I found
But what really interests me is these so called job classes. They provide me unique passives unseen before. A boost to my stats for each level up, as well as a permanent increase in certain aspects belong to me
I rubbed my eyes
I must admit, I was wrong. The Gamer ability is one overpowered power. Now I understand why so many people on the Fanfiction community was hating on it
"Well, it's not like I have any complains" I chuckled, slinging the bag on my shoulder "This is one hell of an awesome system"
System: Thank you, Player (Y/n)!
I've already said my goodbye to Ruby and Summer. The former is fine with it. Though Summer in particular seems to be strangely worried when I announced I'll be out for some time. That's just unlike her calm self
Oh, well. I'm sure it's nothing bad
With a grin on my face, I walked out and closed the door behind me. Suffice to say, I'm hyped to explore what this world has to offer
<><><><><><><><><><><><><>
"Wow...." I gazed at the scenery around me in wonder
When I first got here, my priorities has been to survive, as such I haven't got time to properly appreciate the sights of the forest I was spawned in. The closest thing I got to sight-seeing has been my initial surrounding after the game started
I smiled.
But now that I did, I must say Remnant is a beautiful world indeed
Even though it can be quite dangerous at time
SLAM
The Grimm roared as I punched it in the chest, sending it crashing into several trees. As soon as I did that, several more lunged at me from the side with their jaws open wide
I jumped up and evaded every single on of them, a kitchen knife appeared in my hand as I slashed open some of their body parts
Using [Mechanical Tracing], another knife appeared in my hand as I used it to deflect one's claw from reaching for my throat
'Well, that was close' I already died once, and I have no intention to do that again
I slammed the knife into it's throat, blood bursting out as I did so. Rushing forward, I aimed my other knife at the one behind it, bisecting it in half in one short horizontal sweep
Since I have no offensive skills, my only mean of attacks with the knife right now is basic slash-and-stab. Thankfully, my high 'Taijutsu' stat prevents me from running out of stamina anytime soon
I sliced one from the shoulder to waist with another strike, then grabbed one's skull with my hand
[Dematerialization]
The Grimm in my hand instantly burst into black dust upon activation of the skill. My eyes widened at this, as I did not expect it to be a one-hit kill technique
Wow. I wonder if I channel this into my knife....
The skill [Dematerialization] can only be used 1 time/day! Level this skill up for more uses allowed per day!
Oh, okay. I guess it has it's own limit, huh?
Raising my hand up, I chopped the last Grimm in the head, making it exploded in a shower of mess and gore
As you can see, the world of Remnant may be a beautiful place, but it has it's own hazardous factors. Less than 30 minutes away from the dojo and I'm already ambushed by these things. Luckily they're all just low-level monsters, so they only inconvenienced me at most. Of course, that doesn't mean I should let my guard down and start acting tough now
But it's not like I'll encounter a powerful Grimm this early, right?
Hahahaha...as if
Silently laughing, I checked the box in my hand. Yep, it's still undamaged. I slung it on my shoulder again and took out my map
Let's see, right now I'm standing in the outskirts of Patch island. My destination lies up North, just past the Schnee Compound, round the village of Kuroyuri, and finally arrived at the Valley of the Deep
Rolling my map shut, I took a deep breath as I put it away
"It's only 3 days left..."
<><><><><><><><><><><><>
"I hope (Y/n)'s okay out there" Tai said worryingly, looking out the window of his home
His student has only been out of the dojo for less than an hour and he's already this unsettled, despite always saying he hated the kid's guts. She noted with amusement
"Stop worrying, Tai. He's a strong boy, I'm sure he will pass my test" Summer said calmly as she took a sip of tea. Her hands trembling slightly as she did so
Her condition is getting worse now. At this rate, what the doctor said might not be that far from the truth. The woman may only have at most six months before she finally succumb to her illness
The truth is, she don't want to die yet. Summer don't want to leave her Ruby alone without teaching the young girl about their family's sword style. Only by learning it will her daughter be able to protect herself after her death
It is a common fact that Breath of The Moon is a powerful technique, capable of killing one's opponent with a single strike as long as they have enough mastery. With Ruby's "gift", she has the potential to bring it to a whole new level unseen before
With that "gift", she may have the potential to continue where her mother had failed and end it forever
But the time is not now. She still isn't qualified to wield it yet. Instead, Summer had passed down the technique to one (Y/n) (L/n), who she is sure will carry it on to her daughter when she has long drew her last breath
She may not know if she can trust the boy or not, but this test will reveal it
"If he is worthy, he will pass" She looked at the cup of tea in her hand, staring at the swirling surface of the drink "If he pass, I will teach him the true Breath of The Moon...."
"MOM, DAD" Both of them looked up as Ruby screamed from outside. The little girl slammed the dojo's door shut as she ran in, her face full of worry
"It's...it's...." She said through ragged breath "It's...It's her..."
As if on cue, the door slid open behind her, revealing a figure standing there. Her blond locks seems to radiate in the sunlight, a pair of purple eyes peering from underneath
"You..." Tai gaped
The figure smiled
"Hello, Father, Mother. It's been a long time"

Inhale
Exhale
From the shadow, she took a deep breath
How long has it been since she was this nervous? Blake doesn't know
What she know, is that she wanted revenge. From the day since she has been freed by Tengu-sama, all that has been on her mind is revenge. To kill all those who participate in the raid against Menagarie
For the weeks after that, the young girl wandered the street, surviving only by the money she pick-pocketed from bandits and the likes. She trained herself to the hardest, hoping to one day be able to give payback to those humans
That day came closer than she thought, as the Faunus finally caught wind of one of the main culprit behind the attack on her country
"Jacques Schnee" She whispered, her voice filling with rage "I'm going to kill you"
In front of her, the Schnee's fortress could be seen in the distance, looming in the sunset like a symbol of wealth and status
Wealth and status built on the blood of her people
Blake is smarter than this. There's no way she can get to him. Not at her current level. But soon...She will have her revenge, even if it meant some innocent life were to be taken in the process
When the time come....
In the name of Tengu-sama, she will have her revenge
