Author's Note: Just how many of you actually read my notes here anyway? It contains nothing but a bunch of useless information that none of you need. Fuck, I bet no one even bother to stop here and skim through this mess of texts
...But...in case you do read it...have a good day

"The Atlas Huntsman headquarter Massacre has been a tragedy all and all, one which will be a dark stain in history of human kind. The Government as well as local authorities have been investigating thoroughly for any clue as to the cause of the incident which results in the death of over 400 soldiers" The reporter faintly buzzed from the television
"However, we've determined that the criminal who started this, a wanted man codenamed "The Grim" has most likely infiltrated the base before taking out the guards inside"
"We will now talk to Mr. Lee, also called as Stan. He's the janitor who'd luckily survived the catastrosphere which befall his workplace" Another reporter chimed in, before turning to the main screen behind them "Let's see what Stan can say about what he'd witnessed of the Grim"
"Well, thank you my dear" The old man on the screen grinned, as it shown him sitting in the middle of the room "Well, it was horrible indeed. i was just doing my job when there's this horrible Boom in the hallway. Next thing I know, several of my colleagues were laying dead on the floor"
"Could you please elaborate, Stan?" The reporter coughed "I mean, Mr. Lee"
"Sure thing, love!" His eyes widened "I am currently working on creating a new publishing company name Marvel Comic. It's about superheroes that saves the day, so if you and your kids are interested then you can buy our first comic at Vale with just the cheap price of-"
"Mr. Lee, we are talking about the Atlesian Headquarter massacre, please stick to the main subject" The reporter sternly reprimanded, before adding "I don't think anyone would be interested in your Marvel Comics anyway. Sorry Stan, no offense"
the old man slumped in his seat "No, it's okay. I understand..."
"So, I was just working like regular in one of the corridor when I heard a gunshot. i turned around the other corner and see one of our Specialist fighting somebody. The Specialist is wearing black while the other man is wearing a red cloak around his neck" he started telling
"Both of them are moving at near unseen speed, and there's this Clang and Boom echoing inside the room every time they clashed. But finally, it's his victory against the Specialist" Stan's eyes were full of stars as he described the events that took place, like a child who is speaking about the fight between a hero and his enemy
"It was then have the idea to make the Grim as a Symbiote" He exclaimed, throwing both his hands on the air
"A...Symbiote?"
"Ah yes, that's the subject of my next project, Venom!" he grinned "The first chapter will be published next month, so if you-"
"Mr.Lee, please stick to the MAIN subject!" The reporter shouted "Nobody cares about your comic book!"
Stan slumped in his seat a second time "Okay..."
"Apparently the Grim can use spiderweb as well as growing spider leg out of his body, at which point I think he called it as [Instant Kill Mode]. How awesome a name that is! But the main part is that he used the spiderweb he created to bind his enemy to the wall"
"It was then that I get the idea to base one of my antihero after him. His real life name will be Eddie Brock, who got merged with a biological Symbiote to become a creature of darkness named Venom that can-" He cut himself up "Sorry"
"The point is" Stan became serious "The Grim is a danger for our society and should be exterminate at all cost. Who knows how many more incident will he cause? How many innocent lives will be lost? If you have any information regarding him, please contact your local authorities as soon as possible"
"Ah, thank you Mr.Lee. Your presence here in tonight's show has been most, uh, welcome" The female reporter said "Thank you for joining us tonight, goodbye"
"Good night, everybody" Stan waved at the screen with that same smile on his face
"In other news, there had been several reported case of pancakes robbery on the West side of mistral. The culprit of this was still unidentified, but her description was that of a girl with bright orange hair and blue eyes, who proclaimed herself as 'Queen of the castle'......"

"Well, isn't this unexpected..." Avindale remarked as he gazed at the coffin in front of him
The lid has been opened. Not torn off or broken in, but actually was opened from the inside. Whoever found this coffin has, either unintentionally or not, unlocked this using their blood and released the one locked in there
Or rather, the thing that was sealed in there
"They must have been a fool, there's no doubt about that. Whoever spilled their blood on this casket must have a death wish" He kept mumbling
As the sin of Sloth kept himself busy with inspecting the thing, his daughter Helen was occupied with looking for the outside perimeter
It could be said that they founding out about this place being a coincidence is not entirely true. They had been camping near there when they heard the sound of gunshots sounding out from the distance.
Given that there's a bandit camp nearby, they assumed it's just another one of their raid being held. It's not their business, so they don't want to bother themselves with it either
That is, until both of them sensed something during midnight
An energy pulse, one that's powerful enough to shook her father off from his sleep
Keeping in mind the fact that Avindale Belphegor's supposed to be the Sin of Sloth, it's pretty difficult to even wake him from his sleep probably. The man took forever to get up no matter what you did to him, and then he would just go back to sleep once he realized he's not in danger
Nothing short of an apocalypse could make her old man get out of bed, so you know it's a pretty bad thing if he suddenly woke up like that
They left their spot without saying a word and headed toward the source of that spike of energy, or rather, her father teleported there while she ran and catch up with him at that place
...Sometime Helen feels like her father is constantly flexing on his teleportation ability just to annoy her, but maybe that's just her envying him
And now they're here, at this wreckage of a camp, trying to piece together what happened previously to cause such a ruckus. Her father had gone investigating the tents, while she stood outside with nothing left to do
Bored, the young slime walked to one of the nearby corpse and started examining his body. She turned him to the side and observed his wounds with a keen eye
"Two shots to the chest. one to the head. whoever did this sure is a professional..." She traced her hand on the bloody wound before smelling it "It's already clotting, at least 6 hours had passed since he died, and the bullet...."
She trailed off, her eyes then widened "What is this?"
Pulling her Tanto out of it's sheath, Helen carefully sliced the man's head open, revealing his mushy brains underneath with the mark of a bullet going through
When examining a gunshot wound, there will be two cases of bullet either stuck in the victim's body or go through it, they are called "perforating wound" and "penetration wound" in that same order. A normal forensic team could determine the distance, the type of bullet as well as what gun is being used to shoot the patient based on examining the mark left behind alone
When a bullet penetrate through a certain part of your body, it will leave behind two mark: the "Entrance wound" and the "Exit Wound". Usually there will be a large difference between them that can be easily tell with a glance of an eye
An entrance wound is surrounded by a reddish-brown area of abraded skin, known as the abrasion ring, and small amounts of blood escape through. An exit wound, on the other hand, is larger and more irregular, with extruding tissue and no abrasion ring
And yet...What is this? From the appearance of both wounds on the front and back of the head, it's still the same shape, and both of them have slight burnt mark on it
The culprit must have used an anti-tank rifle equipped with Fire Dust, since the velocity of the bullet must be at terminal state to achieve an effect like this, and only the Fire Dust could create such blackened burnt mark on the wound
But...when one looks at it from a logical standpoint, it makes no sense
Why would one used a single-target, far range weapons like that against the bandits, which is known for using their numbers to overwhelm enemies? Even if you're an experienced sharpshooter, it would still be easier to gun them down using a assault rifle anyway. Hell, one could even use handguns and it would still be more effective nonetheless
Wait....handguns. the Grim. The Grim is (Y/n). (Y/n) has the ability to shoot Aura bullets. Aura bullets are capable of piercing flesh and bones without much resistance and can also travel at maximum speed depending on the user's Aura density
The Headquarter is also near here. That means the description of the weapon, the type of bullets and the location all matches up to him
Of course, how could she be so dense as to miss such an obvious thing? It really turns out to be (Y/n) after all....
...But why would he attack the bandit camp? Is it because of the thing that caused the sudden energy spike last night? Did he just did that on a whim and accidentally caused that himself? She was miffed by this
Why is her leader's method so chaotic? It's like he just walks aimlessly around and coincidentally bumped into the wrong thing at the wrong time and used the wrong line, but then it the world just decided to roll with it and play along with him
Saying that there's madness in his logic are just like saying there's logic in his madness. One can't seems to decipher what is part of his plan and what isn't. (Y/n)'s like an open book that has it's pages ripped out and replaced several time, it's impossible to completely read him
One simply does not understand the insanity that is (Y/n) Lucifer, unless he wishes it that way
"Oh how I long for the day he'll accept me as his equal" She blew out a strand of hair stuck on her forehead "I just simply can't match him in power as well as intelligence at the moment, but maybe in the near future..."
Shaking her head, Helen slipped across the tents and sensed her father's signature energy at the back, where he seems to be still crouching in front of the thing
Opening the flap and walking inside, she found him sweating, a lot
"Who's that coffin for?" She asked, leaning out behind him and looked at the marble casket "Gluttony? You mean to tell me-"
"Yeah, a Deadly Sin has been locked up in here" He completed her question without looking back "And she's been freed from her restraint after all these years of imprisonment"
"She?"
"She. he. It. Gender doesn't matter to the thing I'm referring to. They're genderless but can take on any form they want"
"Oh, is she an Eldritch Abomination like me, I mean like us?" She asked excitedly "We Shoggoths doesn't exactly have a functional sex organ and only reproduce by splitting ourselves after all"
"No. Gluttony's race is....more like a symbolic meaning than anything"
"Huh?"
"The thing is, Their race or gender shouldn't be a topic of discussion here, it's the person who released her that we should be worried about" he smoothly cut her off "You see, the one locked inside this coffin isn't a Heir of the Deadly Sin, they are the original Deadly Sin"
Helen blinked "You're kidding me"
"I would rather be sleeping right now instead of arguing with you if I'm not serious"
Yup, her father is not lying. That means only (Y/n) could have released Gluttony from the casket, for whatever reasons he had in that mad mind of his
"But isn't that supposed to be a good thing? We regained another ally on our side, and a supposed powerful one at that"
"Well, my daughter, you may not know this but...She's not exactly on anyone's side" He sighed "Gluttony's power, as well as her personality, are just simply too unstable, even us Grimm had to be wary of her"
"If what you just said is true, shouldn't there be a disaster nearby right now? It's been 6 hours after all"
"Gluttony's unstable, but that does not mean she's stupid. The seal significantly weaken her so that means she'll focus on finding a prey to regain part of her power back"
Well, that is informative
Her father's referring to another Deadly Sin by their title, which means they either don't have one or it's been so long he forgot their name. Both of these conclusion lead to them being locked inside a long time ago, long before she was born
She also know that their power is fueled by her eating others, and that it's unstable enough to even cause the other Grimm to be cautioned. If that is true, they have a very dangerous Grimm on the loose here
One that is apparently immortal, judging from the fact that they wasn't killed outright when being immobilized like that and can still walk after such a long time being imprisoned there
Immortal, being sealed in a coffin, and have an eternal hunger for others....the races of which carry an symbolic meaning in a certain culture
And even that phrase pointed toward a sensible conclusion. "The Bird of Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame" which clearly showed a hint about restraint and control of oneself
Now she's really interested in the reason why (Y/n) would release them
"And as for the person who let this one out, what happened to them?"
"Interesting question. I think they just coincidentally stumbled on this thing and spilled their blood on it by accident" He answered "He left before Gluttony could get out of the coffin, which suggest he's not aware of the content inside"
"Or maybe they deliberately did it on purpose?"
Avindale glanced at Helen "Maybe, but the possibility of that happening is pretty low"
'Oh you haven't met (Y/n) yet, everything he did go against the law of possibilities itself' She mentally cackled
"my guess is that this coffin is made so that whoever undid the seal on it will inherit part of Gluttony's original power, thus making them her holder, as one can put it"
"So you mean...they'll be the one controlling her?"
"Not really, they will enter a co-dependency relationship, kind of like that. One has the power but cannot use it, while one can use it but they must have permission from the holder. Without the holder, Gluttony won't be at her full power anytime soon"
"Oh"
"Yet, if she can kill the holder than her power will be restored, but only if she kill them while in her weakened state"
Interesting, it seems like (Y/n) could have forced the Sin of Gluttony to depend on his authority over her, but he didn't. He's deliberately gave them the chance to kill him. She wonder why he'd do that
"And if Gluttony can't kill them?"
"I supposed there's nothing that can be done about it. It's better to have someone who can control her anyway"
"......"
"Helen?"
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Helen laughed out loud, holding herself by her stomach, surprising her father. It can't be helped, all of this is so amusing after all
From (Y/n)'s incomprehensible intelligent to Avindale's clueless state, it just makes her imagine about the image of a madman dancing while a professor looked in, trying to decipher the meaning of the man's action, all the while being unaware of his subject's true nature
"There's nothing, Father. I merely think it's funny how absurd all of this seems"
"Yeah, me too. Who would have thought something such as this could happen in the first place"
They walked out of the tent and headed back toward the forest. This time with Avindale deciding not to tease his daughter by teleporting and instead walked along with her
It's the middle of winter, the chilly wind brushed through her skin underneath her skins, but she didn't mind. Her gaze remained staring forward
The slime motioned for her father not to interfere without turning back, to which he nodded
"We know you've been hiding inside there for a long time now, get out"
There was silence following her words, before a man burst out from a nearby bush and ran toward her with a knife in his hand, his face twisted in fear and anger
Helen tilted her head and dodged his strike
"!" The bandit suddenly stopped in his track as pain spread across his entire arms
First is his finger, then his hand, then his elbow, all of them slid off his body and fell to the ground. With a scream, he fell back, clutching his amputated body parts in agony
Avindale was impressed. He had seen Helen touching the hilt of her katana just moments before the man reached her. Her strikes are smooth, fast and precise, not leaving any room for mistakes, before she drew it back and sheathed her sword in one swift movement
To the untrained eyes, it seems like she didn't even touch her sword at all. The man's hand just seems to slipped off by accident
"Just when did you learn that style of sword fighting? I don't remember you using it before" He asked curiously
"It's called Iaijutsu. (Y/n) taught it to me while you were away" She replied "But you probably didn't care about him anyway"
Yes, technically this technique is what the Beowolf had recommended to her when he first asked her about her sword
However, (Y/n) didn't taught Helen how to use it, he only describe how it works as a counter-attack oriented sword style and explained it's basic form. It was actually Helen who reinvented the whole fighting style, but she put all the credit on him
Flashback
"No, I'm telling you it's not my intention to teach you that way. I don't even know about the basic of sword fighting!"
"Surely you jest" She smiled, sheathing her sword "They say humility is an important virtue of one who wields the sword, but you're just debasing yourself too much!"
She had just shown (Y/n) her learned movements, and he appeared to be surprised when she thanked him for teaching her his fighting style. He's a strange one, always denying his credits in her training
"Agh. Listen Helen, I only mentioned to you about it out of boredom. I didn't mean for you to go ahead and CREATE YOUR OWN SWORD STYLE! You're a genius, isn't that too hard for you to accept?!"
"No, the real genius in this case is you" She shook her head "I merely picked up on your clue and worked my ways around the general description until it's complete. There's nothing worth mentioning about it"
"....." (Y/n) slowly brought a hand to cover his face
"Nothing worth mentioning about it. Alright, I fucking give up, it's impossible to convince you otherwise" He grumbled "You guys are worse than a bunch of idiots, you're a bunch of fucking idiots"
"Please forgive me for failing your expectation" She lowered her head in shame "It took me 3 days to put this together when it should have cost me only one, I am deeply sorry for my inefficiency in this matter"
"....No, that's not what I mean...."
End Flashback
She walked to the man and picked him up by the collar
"Tell us what happened here" The man stammered in response
"Some fucker raided this area, killed all of my comrades. I was out in the forest stealing from an old man at that time so I wasn't there. I arrived back in the camp just in time to see he killed our leader" He started sweating
"I was scared, so I hide in this bush to avoid him. He walked into our tents and stole our money, 5 minutes later he walked out into the forest there. That's the last time I seen him before you came along"
"Which direction did he came off?"
"There, near the West"
"How did you get your hands on the coffin?"
"Why would yo- Agh!" The bandit choked as her other hand shot out and poked him in the throat, her eyes still staring at him
"I'm the one asking question here. How did you, a bunch of lowly bandits with minimal weapon training and a small capacity for brain matter, managed to get your hands on that coffin?"
"W-well, some old man from a nearby village send it along with some money and books to us as an offering for peace. But then we found out that coffin is supposedly "cursed" so we decided to burn that whole village down to the ground"
"Which village was that?"
"Uh, I don't know, I forgot"
She sighed, judging from his heartbeat the man is telling the truth. Still, the information she received is enough
"Well then, you've outlived your usefulness, Bandit-san. Goodbye"
"Wait, wait no!" She dropped him to the ground. Before he could react, the surviving bandit's head was lopped off from his shoulder seemingly by an invisible blade
The pair of father and daughter stood there in silence
"So, what will be our course of action now?"
"Locating the one who undid the seal of course. If we hurry up and we get to him before Gluttony did then we won't need to search for her anymore in case he died. If he live then we'll have a useful ally nonetheless"
"Okay, that sounds logical"
Too bad you can't fight (Y/n) with logic alone

Author's note: *sigh* I'm tired of this
Maybe I should start a new book after this one?
.

.
.
I'm thinking of doing a Male!Reader X AU!RWBY set in period of Feudal Japan, where the reader will become a wandering ronin on his journey of accidentally giving rise to a new empire and amass a bunch of companions along the way
Currently still working on other details. Expect misunderstandings like this story in there, as well as a bunch of other elements like reincarnation and gamer system to be applied
....Yeah, basically it's like (Y/n) being reincarnated into another alternate RWBY universe
So tell me your opinion on this. If possible please tell me what you would like to see in there as well. I'd take any suggestion that appeals to me
