"Ah, that's one relaxing flight" I tore open the bag of seaweed on my hand and munched on the content "Man, these things are delicious"
Thankfully nothing happened while I'm on the plane, as opposed the last time I fell asleep at the hotel in London only to wake up and learn that everyone there is dead. That's certainly a sign of my luck taking a turn for the better
The moment I woke up, it seems like it was already night in Japan. Lucky me, it seems my inner clock is now all over the place due to the disparity in timezone between here and England
No complain here. I'll get used to it anyway
Walking out into the outer platform, I blended in among the masses. There were businessman waiting for their respective number, children playing with their family watching over, and then there were me just wandering around looking for a taxi with a bag of seaweed in my hand
Right now, I am in Japan, or the Kanto region of Japan to be exact
I don't know why it is listed that this is my birthplace, but I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere near Fuyuki city, especially not at this time of the decade when everyone's preparing for the shitfest that is the Heaven's Feel ritual
In the belonging of the old "me" that I had sorted through, there was only my ID and passport that allowed me to identify my origin, but aside from that there were nothing. Nothing that could point me out as to who I am before the transmigration to this body
Is it the force of Fate at work, rewriting reality to suit my arrival here, or is it a mere coincidence that I was just a nameless nobody that accidentally knows about the supernatural?
No, the Clock Tower wouldn't have accepted me into their tutelage if I don't have any famous bloodline attached to my name. That mean at least one of my relative from the past had to possess knowledge or being a practitioner of Magecraft themselves
And that's the point, I can't remember a single thing prior to my childhood. Oh there were the general knowledge of my life until now and my experience ever since I entered the magical world, but aside from that the insignificant memories were blurred out, if not completely wiped from my mind
"Well, thinking about that wouldn't yield any result" Crunching the last piece of spicy seaweed between my teeth, I waved at a nearby cab that just happened to be passing by "Ay, taxi!"
The vehicle slowly slowed down, enabling me to open the door and get myself in the back seat
"That's one small package you got there" The driver gazed at my handheld suitcase
"Eh, I prefer travelling light. Less of a hassle when you move around" I shrugged, clicking on the seat belt "13/42 Gudako street of the 7th district please"
"Ohh. You new here?" He eyed my outfit "Most likely been in Europe for some time, haven't you?"
"Yes? Why are you asking?"
My instinct tell me there's something shady about the way he said that
"Oh nothing, it's just that some weird rumors been going on near that particular district for the past few weeks" The car began moving on the road, avoiding the other taxis who are waiting for their respective guests "Say that people going out at night began missing. It's only a few cases at first, but then the numbers multiplied and now a curfew's been imposed on the populace to prevent them from going outside too late at night"
"Furthermore" The car swiveled to the main road, the airport's noisy atmosphere slowly fading behind us in the silence of the night "The Tohno's been oddly silent about it. And given that they've been the ruling family of the town ever since it's founding, the current situation were somewhat troubling"
Had the driver bothered looking in the mirror, he would have seen my face twisting in horror
Oh fuck all kinds of duck
First is Fate/Zero, now Tsukihime?
I supposed the Nasuverse being connected would put many theorist in elation, but at this point in time all I could feel was a sense of dread and several headache coming my way
What's next, me meeting Ryougi Shiki?
I shook my head off that that possibility. Now's not the time to worry about what and what not. It would be more important if I focus on the circumstance of my situation
Yes, this may take place in the same universe as any other work for all I care. My only goal here is to have a normal life as an average teen with no knowledge of the magical world, and to do it I first need to stop caring about other people's business, especially when it doesn't involve me
Still, it would not be unsavory if I employed some additional defense, right?
Yeah, it would be best if I do that
I touched upon the System and willed forward a skill, one that I'm sure will at least provide relative safety for me in the long run
Would you like to spend 200,000 SP to acquire [Mystic Eyes of Death Perception]?
Would you like to spend 600,000 SP to max out [Mystic Eyes of Death Perception]?
Yes
[Mystic Eyes of Death Perception] (Maxed): At this level, you can actualize death into any given target as long as they possess an "Origin"
The driver was startled at the ethereal blue light that flashed across his passenger's eyes. He looked backward, only to see the boy's passive gaze staring back at him, it's normal iris blinking in confusion
"Is something the matter?"
"Ah no, it's probably just my imagination"

Misaki town
In the lore of the Fate series, it was only mentioned briefly as a location rich with spiritual magic, but nothing more than that
However, this place. This one single place...was the foundation to which the event of Fate played out the way they did
Kara no Kyoukai, Tsukihime, Mahou Tsukai no Yoru. The lynchpin that tied together other TYPEMOON works had ultimately shapes into what would be called today as the Nasuverse
And right now I'm currently standing in it
"What the hell? District 7 is actually owned by the Tohno's?!"
"Well, no. They only own Misaki city" The driver sent me a confused look as he pointed at the local map "See? Right here, Gudako street is right in the middle of it"
My face paled
"R-right..."
Should I have regretted this decision now?
Oh fuck it, as long as I don't invite unnecessary attention I'll be fine. Besides that I also am too tired at this point to even care
Paying the cash to the driver, I carried my suitcase to the now empty street. As I looked around, I noticed for one thing that it is...too empty. It is only about 9PM, yet there are no light within the area save for the flickering street lamp beside me
It's almost like a scene straight out of your typical ghost story
Blinking, I looked back at the taxi, only to see the vehicle had already been driven around the corner, leaving me alone standing in the middle of the street by myself
Great, now to find the address written on my ID. 13/42...there it is
My feet stopped as I arrived at an old building
Well, to call it old would be incorrect, as the house still look relatively new. It's only the more traditional style and antique look contrasting with the more modern buildings around it that make it stand out
"Let's see, the keys..." Shuffling through my pockets, I pulled out the necessary object and inserted it into the lock
One twist later, I took off the chain and opened the gate that led inside
The first thing that hit me was the smell of dead bodies
"...."
Oh dear
<><><><><><><><><>
It took me 3 minutes to dispose of the bodies, to whom I've identified as Mr and Mrs (L/n) after casting [Structural Analysis] on their corpse
Disregarding of how or why they were killed, I decided not to question it and starts cleaning up the house. The electricity and water still works, but judging from the state of the corpse they'd been dead for some time now
After I finished cleaning up the place, I put my parent's corpse in the kitchen and begin thinking on how to deal with them
Calling the police is an unwise move. My parents are killed in a locked house for at least a few weeks before I arrived here, the only logical conclusion they would be able to draw is that someone with the keys must have snuck in and murdered them
Naturally, that would point to me as the first and foremost suspect, being the only one with the keys in my possession and being away at the time of my parent's passing
I may have been their son in a distant world.
I may have been their son in this body once.
I may have even loved them like I did my original parents.
But that doesn't mean I would willingly burden myself with their death
So as painful as it may be, I can't disclose this to the authority, lest they compromised my life and expose my nature as a Magus. That also means I'll have to deal with these dead bodies somehow
Initially I contemplated projecting a shovel and just bury their body parts in the backyard, which was supposedly the ideal place to hide because of the wild vegetation there
But then I have the idea of burning them away with a Gandr, since it emits no smoke and take care of the job better than normal fire
Which is why I am now cursing as I ran away from the burning house behind me
Damn it, that's supposed to be a simple Gandr! There's absolutely no way for it to suddenly explode and spread like that!
Due to use of Divine Word, the potency of all Incantations are significantly increased
[Gandr] has been replaced with [Hellfire]
Why the hell would you make me this Overpowered!?
No wait, why the hell would I max [Incantation] in the first place!?
I moaned miserably. Not only had I found out that my parents in this world were dead, but I also burned down their house all in one night
Truly, Fate has not been kind to me
<><><><><><><><><>
It was already early in the morning
Thankfully, no one saw last night's incident with the overcharged Gandr. I managed to quench out the fire by creating a mass amount of [Holy Water] and dumped it on the building
While admittedly messy, it's still safer than some of the other...alternatives
I could kill the fire using my Mystic Eyes of Death Perception and risk getting burnt. I could take out the fire by summoning a mini black hole at the center of the town. I could extinguish the flame by exploding all nearby buildings. I could use fire to fight fire by summoning a larger Gandr in it's place
But I'm just an average Magus with average abilities, there's no way I can do such things
Using Magic of [True Creation] along with [Projection] as the model enabled me to restore the house back to it's brand new state in one night, all that with no changes to the original design, so as to keep the suspicion away from my home
...
Well I did add a little bit of extra "features", but those are for personal taste than anything else
Sitting peacefully at the second floor of the house, wrapped in multiple layers of warm blankets and with a cup of hit tea beside me, I watched with satisfaction as dawn slowly approach the town of Misaki
After a day filled with drama and a night filled with stress, I finally had a chance to catch my breath and truly embrace my situation
Somehow, I felt like this will be the beginning of a new life

Author's Note: Quick question y'all. Should I make (Y/n) interacting with the Tsukihime world or should I just make a timeskip to the event of Fate/Zero?
