(insert 5,000 words fight scene that unfortunately got deleted by Wattpad. Motherfucker)
"Release Restraint Level...Zero"
The battle started with neither words from both side
Explosions rang out across the vast space of the solar system. Darkness illuminated by a myriad of colours, resembling a newborn supernova as they converged together and burst forward, consuming everything in their path and tearing the heaven asunder
I roared, the Type-Killer thrummed in my hand as I released a swing at the alien, sending torrents of crushing pressure whipping through the solar system. The asteroid rings around us scattered in all direction from the shockwave generated from our clash
planting my feet on the smallest Type, I stabbed my sword into their body, piercing them from head to toe
The Reinforced Slash Emperor twisted mid-strike, successfully cleaving through Type-Venus's main body and neutralized it mid-firing. The fully-charged Black Barrel in my hand roared, piercing through its defense and killing the Ultimate One in a single shot
The cannons pointed. The dull thrumming of the lasers rang out as they impacted against Type-Mars's shield, successfully breaking it and pushing the alien construct several kilometers back
In retaliation, a beam of concentrated Ether impacted against the Death Star in hope of destroying its artillery. Gravity shifted as it covered the distance between them in mere seconds. A ray of darkness that swallows everything in its path, one that cannot simply be blocked by normal means
However, upon meeting the Death Star, the ray of death were easily dispersed, the ray of dark energy scattering in all directions
"Surprise?"
The seven layers of force field shimmered to life around the planet's surface, while I used the opportunity of distraction to land another blow against Type-Uranus, creating sparks of flame as the tip of my blade grated against its surface
This isn't a Fortress-type Noble Phantasm for nothing. The Ultimate Death Star's second function, [Awakened Force], allow it to withstand virtually any attack as long as the user has enough mana to power its core
Combined this with [Starkiller], which made for continent-level attacks being fired at a rapid pace, allows me to keep up with the Types seamlessly in combat
An earth-shattering shriek echoed as the volley of artillery fired again, this time being backed up with rapid machine blaster at close range impacting against the Type. In response, Type-Jupiter and Uranus began rushing in, meeting me head-on with two Slash Emperors drawn in my hand
Their logic was simple. If the Death Star itself can't be destroyed, what to say its summoner can't be killed?
Two primordial powers fought against each other, breaking all known laws of physics with their every impact. The energy residue from the blast carried the power to born seven stars, and destroy another seven in the same breath
Minutes to hours, we fought past the boundary of the solar system. Anything that gets in our way is insignificant, as they are all turned to dust moments later when the wave of True Ether washed over them
I grunted, one hand straining to push back the giant hulking figure that is Jupiter, while my other arm was locked in a struggle of its own with Uranus. Both of them possess immense physical strength that even I found troublesome to deal with
Heaving, I pushed them back as I used Prana Burst to swiftly kicked backward. Slash Emperor turned into a Lance as I batted away the rainbow-colored projectiles sent after me by Neptune
Grabbing a nearby asteroid, I threw them at the Type to buy some time. The mountain-sized boulder was pulverized just moments later as a wave of heat flared across its surface. Nonetheless, it was enough to bring some distance between us
At the corner of my eyes, I saw Type-Mars rushing toward me from my blind spot at a speed quite shocking to an opponent of its size
Using [Absolute Evasion], I twisted my body so that the raging Type whizzed by me in less than a hair's breadth away. A lance materialized in my hand as I took aim mid-air, at the same time it halted in its trajectory and charged at me again like a raging bull
From what I've seen. Mars is so far the most aggressive among the Types. Perhaps I could use this to my advantage...
"Parry this, you casual"
The lance in my hand ignited in a burst of darkness. I drew my hand back, arching my body to one side to achieve optimal firing force, before throwing the Altered Knight Arm at it straight on.
A black flash streaked across the cosmos, followed by a thunderous noise shortly after. Cosmic winds rushed through the empty space, blasting away the stray asteroids lingering near the area
The lance's terminal velocity, combined with the trajectory of the Type ended up in my favor as the two of them crashed together. One trying to overpower its opponent through sheer force, the other stuck in a deadlock with no way to change its direction midair
As if to reannounce its presence on the battlefield, the Death Star's cannon rang out once more, hitting the planet's armor by the side in another pincer attack
Type-Mars's armor slowly dented. The sound of metal creaking could be heard as it groaned under the pressure of the lance's and the laser's concentrated point.
I swung my weapon upon the struggling alien construct, wiping it out in one strike and leaving a chain of explosions behind me
Another one down
I took a deep breath, slowly calming my breathing, before exhaling. Within moments, the Death Star's third function was activated
[For the Emperor]
A loud rumble reverberated across the cosmos. I raised my hand, beckoning forward an armada of massive sized ships that materialized behind me
Space itself seems to be distorted, pierced forward by the hull of a massive alien construct, soon followed by another, and another. The Star Destroyers arrived next to each other, lining up perfectly in a standard V formation that spread across the Death Star's surface
Slowly, the creaking gets louder as the armada's artillery all lit up in preparation
"Fire!"
Countless shots rang out, accompanied by the roaring shriek of the Type-Arms as the two projectiles collided together mid-air, creating whipping zephyrs that swept across the airless void of outer space
I burst forward from behind and penetrated Uranus with my pulsing black spear, before mercilessly slicing it in half. The Black Barrel rang out just moments later, blasting the remains of it into oblivion
Twisting around, I landed between two nearby Star Destroyers and sent them crashing into Type-Jupiter. Due to its sheer size, the alien existence can not evade the incoming suicide bombers and was thus bombarded with heavy wounds from the incoming explosions
The volley of concentrated shots impacted against its hull. The armada of spaceships subsequently rammed into the Types, blowing themselves up in the process
Unfortunately, the attack was proved ineffective as Neptune used its Type-Arm to shield the larger Type from the damage, before deflecting all of them back at me with a blast of furious wind
Slicing the spaceship in half as it sailed past me, I grunted in annoyance
Fine, I'll do it myself
"I am the trigger of my gun"
I raised my hand, calling upon one of the guns in my arsenal
Right now, my main concern is the unusual coordination the Types possess. They are able to combine their powers effectively in order to fight me, as if something is directly linking them together and maneuvering their movement with great efficiency against me
"Bullet is my body. Gunpowder is my blood"
A pitch-black, heavy cannon materialized in my hand. I slowly took aim at the direction of a single Type that has been standing at the back for quite some time, covering itself amidst the conflict going on
The more a leading general tried to hide himself, the more it makes them stand out among his forces
"Unknown to miss, nor known to falter"
In a battle of many. The point is to avoid what is strong, and strike at which is weak. Do the unexpected, and attack the unprepared.
"Thus" Zhuge Liang said "The battle will be won before it can be fought"
"So as I aim...Nine Bullet Lost Works!"
The howl of the cannon was deafening. Before it can react, Type-Saturn was already struck at point-blank range by what could only be best described for what it is: A weapon specialized for breaking one's defense and crippling them
A blast resounded, sending shockwaves and star dusts scattering across the battlefield. Immediately, the Types swayed in their charge as they felt their connection being cut off. A smirk slowly crept up my face as I readied my rifle
In battle, communication between a group is key to victory. What I did was only taking out their only means of interaction in the form of Type-Saturn, which act as the leader between them
Now being orchestrated from the formation, they are unable to come up with strategies to counter my offense and will most likely hinder their own allies in our fight
Death Star's artillery rained down upon the alien constructs. Black Barrel bullets and Slash Emperors alike whipped through the air in a crazed fashion, slashing and hacking everything around them as I easily evaded their attacks
Merging the two Knight Arm in my hand, I swung the Reinforced Slash Emperor down and split the vacuum of space in half, creating a colossal blast of True Ether that swept over the two Types in an eternal wave of darkness
Type-Jupiter was the first to go from the blast, having been severely weakened from my onslaught
Type-Neptune was next, being the one closest to me at the moment of the attack, it soon crumbled into Nothingness
Several bursts of explosion rang in my ear as something slammed in my side, violently throwing me forward
My head felt light for a moment as I temporarily lost my focus. Regaining my balance, I landed on top of a nearby asteroid. My eyes flickered to the shade of the Death Star behind me, only to realize its already been taken control of by Type-Pluto
Oh. I forgot about them...in 1991, Pluto was still considered a planet, doesn't it?
The Death Star's cannon, under the control of the smallest Type, slowly turned toward me...
Usually, I would be in some trouble due to the planet's offense capability, worse is that it's being combined with an intergalactic entity whose main function is destroying alien civilization. My physical body will probably be destroyed a few times if those things hit me
But thankfully, I've taken countermeasures against this beforehand
I snapped my finger, and the planet self-destruct, bringing Type-Pluto down with it
The Black Barrel rang out one last time through the mist, and the battle was over
"....."
Congratulation
You have killed 9/10 Ultimate Ones
Please work hard to kill them all! (UwU)
<><><><><><><><>
The silence stretched out in the cosmos, drowning out the sound of my light breathing as I floated aimlessly in the condition of zero gravity
Titanic chunks of metal and unidentified material littered the space around me, occasionally sliding pass and sometimes colliding into my head. My only response to such things is a big intake of non-existent oxygen
The Death Star is now under major damage due to taking the issued suicide attack by its master. Fortunately, it's nothing a little repair wouldn't fix...
..Me..on the other hand...

I'm pretty sure my physical body just evolved somewhere along the way. I don't know. It could be, it could not. Does that still count as being average?
My eyes strayed to the items down at my feet. The seven Type's core glint as the light shone down on them, reflecting a myriad of otherworldly colors that spoke of powers beyond human comprehension
"Right, let's just head home"
And the universe seems to say "no", as the next moment I found myself teleported away from space
<><><><><><><><>
I sighed
The void around me in response rippled as I took several steps forward. It was an endless space, stretching in all directions across the horizon. The ground beneath me was a clear sea that reflects my form, like surface of a mirror
"Greeting, Alaya"
Space rippled. The presence lurking in the void made itself known to me as a construct shimmered to life. A sphere separated by layers of rotating disks, all showing different glimpses of a different reality as I looked at it
The entity before me shifted. It's appearance rapidly changing from one to another at the drop of a dime. From old to young, from female to male, and many more undescribable changes in looks.
Eventually, it settles into the form of a female in business attire and a sharp look in her eyes. Her stern demeanor only accentuated as she adjusted the rim of her glasses in a graceful manner
"Greeting, average Magus"
I should have expected this, to be honest
One doesn't just take down the entire solar system's worth of Ultimate Ones without any form of repercussions to their action
I looked down at the ground and procured a table with some chairs. Sitting on one of them, I gestured for "her" to take a seat. I then project some cups and bring out a bubbling teapot as I poured both of us a cup
"...." There was a brief moment of silence as I and the Will of Humanity took a small sip of the tea, sighing in contentment as the taste seems to soothe the day's tension from our body
For a while, the only sound that reverberates in the empty space between us is the clanking of ceramic as we each poured ourselves another cup of refreshment
"The tea is well-brewed" Alaya inclined her head
For an entity that supposedly embodies mankind itself, I hadn't expected her to be this polite. Though Alaya could just be choosing this form because it's the type of woman I find appealing
..no...I wouldn't call her as sexually appealing, but her manner and calm disposition was certainly a big plus in my book. Or at least in Walter's book
"Thank you for the compliment" I waved my hand "Though I supposed it's not my tea you're after?"
She was silent, eyes gazing at the swirling tea in the cup, before looking up at me. Within, a myriad of emotions flashed through, an indication that
"Do you know where this is?"
I shrugged
Honestly, given her cryptic nature, I can expect her to start a conversation like this.
"The flow of space and time here is absent. I can sense no physical matters in existence here, so they can not be materialized or interfere with this world. Which means this is somewhere under your authority. One that only houses souls and spirits alike"
"In conclusion, I'm somewhere inside the Throne of Heroes, where spirits of legend dwells after their passing" I took a sip of tea "Though what you want with me in this place, I have no idea"
"I want to make you a Heroic Spirit"
PFFT
Alaya's expression remained moderately impassive as I spat the tea on her face.
She calmly wiped the saliva-mixed tea from her cheek, inspect it, before licking it in curiosity
"Hey, hey, that's dirty!" I wiped her face with my handkerchief. I sighed as I sat down "Terribly sorry about that. Your proposal is just unexpected"
"However, you can't really make me into a Heroic Spirit since..." I shrugged "...Third Magic and Divinity"
It's a rule that divine spirits cannot become Servants themselves. As a full-fledged God, it is basically impossible for me to bind myself to a mortal Master, else they'd be killed just by establishing our connection alone
Even if an infinitesimal part of me can be converted into data, the Third Magic had already pinpoint my soul and basically bond it to the Root itself. Having already achieved [Spiritual Perfection], a state of devoid of any flaws and weaknesses while in my spirit form, it can not be changed to any lesser states through any known contract nor rituals and will infinitely remain in optimal condition until the end of time
Disregarding my desire to be normal, even if I wanted to, I cannot become a Servant
"That doesn't matter. It was not my intention to make you a Servant" She blinked "Being a Heroic Spirit will only serve as your title and will not affect you in anyway, nor will it bind you to any duty required with the granting of said title. This is merely mandatory when it comes to people who accomplished legendary feats on their own"
Ah, so she's doing it just for the formality huh?
But I don't understand
What did I do that makes me "legendary"?
My question went unasked, as I only sighed
"You're doing this because you want me to protect humanity, don't you?"
"Not exactly, no" She pursed her lips, a cold glint entering the entity's eyes "My existence revolves around the wish of not making humanity extinct. There's a clear boundary between protecting them and ensuring they achieved long-lasting survival, as such the act of protection itself is merely a mean to achieve the end goal. In the long run, its significance hardly matter"
"Even if it means 49% of the human race has to be wiped out. You would gladly do it for the other 51% as long as they have the ability to flourish by themselves?"
"Wouldn't it be logical?"
...And there it is...the true face of humanity...
"I'm not going into a philosophical debate about morality with you, considering it's my worst subject" I exhaled "But luckily, your interest and mine coincide. I will take care of any threat that involves the wipeout of humanity as a whole, but otherwise will act neutral to your cause if our goals don't match"
That's my intention anyway. Can't live a normal life if humanity is on the edge of extinction on a daily basis
The only thing worse than that is gaining a harem by myself
"Then, please give me your hand"
Her hands touched mine in a gentle hold. I winced as visions of countless timelines and worlds rushed through my head. Some of them were flourishing with life and magic, others already achieved the pinnacle of technology and were on the edge of evolving as a species, but most of them were...burning in ruins - a vision of the apocalypse that will eventually come in the form of Beasts
I slowly withdrew it, watching in fascination as the visions gradually turned black. I looked down and see twelve marks on my hand fading away into my skin, signifying my title as a Servant of the twelve classes
....
...wait..twelve? I thought there were only like seven classes of Servant or so?
Before further thoughts can be given to the matter, I stumbled as the space around us crackled. A presence made itself known, trying to force its way in by ramming repeatedly against the barrier of the empty void, which shook with every impact it made
"I think you should go" Alaya muttered, fixing her glasses "That annoying girl will be here soon"
"Um..."
What? Who?
The pounding became louder. More cracks appeared at the boundary of the reality between us
"Please proceed with haste"
Is that anxiety I heard in Alaya's voice?
"...Okay"
Shrugging, I turned around and teleported out of the void, wondering just who the "annoying girl" being referred to is
<><><><><><><><><>
The moment (Y/n) disappeared, Alaya dug her heels into the ground and braced for the impact
BOOM
The void exploded. Fragments of reality easily shattered as space itself fluctuate from the strike. Torrents of crimson energy flashed across the horizon, splitting the sky above her in half. Zephyr-like shockwaves swept over the tranquil sea, creating towering ripples with enough power to topple the tallest of buildings in them
Alaya merely willed the wave to cease with a calm face. Water splashing on her face as the fierce wind ripped through her outfit
The tornado spun as it released all its power upward, creating a spiral that penetrated past the sky limit.
The storm finally cleared with the whipping wind slowly fading away, revealing a very pissed off Counter Guardian with a half-baked copy of Ea in her hand
White hair swaying gently in the wind. Counter Guardian Nameless discarded the incomplete projection and walked up to the Will of Humanity with slow, silent steps, the murderous expression on her face never ceasing
"What the hell" Her voice was low "...What is he doing here...What were you trying to do to him?"
Her employer only shrugged, handing her the tea (Y/n) had made moments earlier
"Cool your head, Archer. I hadn't done anything to him yet"
Not like she can do anything anyway. The man...no, thing...is an existence that would make Gods lose control of their bowel in terror. She herself was lucky he doesn't want to turn humanity into a bag of cheese or something similar for entertainment
The Counter Guardian reluctantly took a sip from the cup. Her expression slightly softened at the taste of the familiar tea
"Why didn't you tell me about this beforehand?"
"I hadn't planned to meet him yet. Circumstances forced me to" Had she care any less, Alaya would have shrugged "It's about a matter that shouldn't concern you in any way"
"What matters about him wouldn't concern me in any way? Isn't that the point of our deal?" Grey eyes narrowed dangerously at the entity, who blinked back innocently like the shitty boss that she is
"It is?" She asked gently ""
"...I really want to quit our contract sometimes, Alaya"
"Feel free to so at the termination of your soul...oh wait...you can't meet (Y/n) like so"
"And here I thought I could see him again sooner" The red-clad Spirit remarked with a sigh. She began muttering while looking down at the hem of her coat, slightly adjusting them "Nevertheless, this will only give me time to train myself. He'd always been a strict teacher...and a stricter father....it won't do if I underperform myself in front of him"
Alaya tilted her head
"...Is this what they call the daddy complex?"
A spinning Caladbolg zipping past her head is all the indication she needed. The Will of Humanity quickly excused herself from the fuming Counter Guardian behind her as she spirited away, leaving not a trace behind
On the plus side, she finally knows what the girl's weakness is
<><><><><><><><>
*yawn* Home sweet home
I had forgotten just how desolate Misaki town could look like at night. They should really consider investing in the improvement of streetlights and outside scenery
The door wearily creaked as I pushed it open. I flicked open the light and set my foot inside, blowing apart a layer of dust that lingered on the floor
I sniffled. After almost a month of being absent, some dust had begun gathering on the furniture, making breathing in the room felt that much more annoying
My appearance finally reverted back to its normal self.
The kind, gentle expression I often wore as Walter was still there, but most of my features were largely reverted back to their original self. My eyes became sharper, my body became more youthful, while my facial changed back into that of a highschooler with lean physique, yet still average enough not to draw unnecessary attention from the opposite sex
I can't believe it's already this late. The moon's already up in the air when I'm back on Earth. And I have schools next Monday too. Damn, did I do my homework? I did, didn't I?
"Alright, let's start cleaning up!"
I prepared the broom and some other cleaning tools found in the shed. As I waited for the water from the sink to fill up the bucket while I prepare the towel, I couldn't help but smile
This is it
This is the sense of normalcy I'm looking for all this time
Right now I'm not a God. Nor am I the magician of the two Magics. Just a boy who just got back from his business trip from the city and prepare for a new week of schools
Right at this moment, I felt as if nothing in this world could go wrong
Humming happily, I set out to dust the messy living room before me
Unfortunately, the cleaning itself took only several minutes as I had already maxed out the skill [Housework] that increases all household chores efficiency that I do, but nonetheless I am satisfied with my work
I did my math homework. Prepare my uniform to go to school tomorrow. Made myself a warm glass of milk that I procured from somewhere. I then brush my teeth and went to bed at exactly eight like the absolutely normal person that I am
...
...
...
I can't sleep
I rolled around on the bed, squeezing my eyes shut and counted to a hundred thousand million in order to lull myself to sleep. The fabric wrinkled under my constant shifting. After a while, I opened my eyes again
It didn't work
Let's count to a trillion this time
....
Still didn't work
Sighing, I got up and scratched my head. My hand went to the nearest jacket as I put them on, feeling the warmth enveloping my upper body. The coat itself was of a crimson color, its length resembling a trenchcoat as it covered most of my body.
Though the garment may look intimidating at first sight, it's a coat I got for sale at the local market's Black Friday
I looked outside the window, where the full moon was hanging in its full glory under the night sky
"Fuck it, I'm going for a walk in the wood"
Some light physical exercises like jogging may help me develop some fatigue, cool down the adrenaline in my body and hopefully make it easier for me to hit the bed. Perhaps even enjoying the scenery in the forest at midnight could relax my psyche
It's just a walk in the wood, what can possibly go wrong?
