🌸 Miku Expo 2026 🌸

Last Miku Expo was 2024 and honestly it was such a great time! I cried, I loved the set list. The community was amazing! So when they posted tickets for 2026 I bought tickets for me and the roomie. Was very shocked to see the price hike! But I think its because last time it was ran by crunchyroll. But anyway bought my tickets a million years ago and the concert date completely sneaked up on me!

I made a bunch of pony bead bracelets (no pictures, so sorry). As well as a sticker with Miku and my website URL to hand out. I stuck the sticker, bracelet, and a coffee candy into some bags to give out. I think I had about 50? And I handed them all out. it was really great time.

Roomie had busted their foot the week before, so we were running really behind. But we found out in line that we could request ADA seating! I have said before that I hate the Anthem. But the worst thing about this venue is the line, so when we got to skip it and have a seat that was assigned to us ... Suddenly the Anthem doesn't look so bad. :-X

I'm actually really happy to learn about the ADA seating because my spouse has OH/POTS and struggles with standing for long periods of time and it can lead to fainting spells. And she got her official diagnostic recently so i think if we can I might see if we can't get these kinds of seats from now on.

When I realized that we were going to get set list B I was a little disappointed. I was really hoping to get setlist A since it has "Bring It on." Honestly, compared to 2024, there aren't a lot of songs on the list that I had heard or liked.

The first song I was really looking forward to was "World's End Dancehall". I was unfortunately in line for merch when it was playing :-( My favorite version of this song is the Nico Nico Chorus version. I love all the added voices and lines.

This was my first time hearing "Caged Flower." I actually really liked it! I definitely put it on my regular rotation after this. I hope I can find a good English cover too.

Was really exited for "Love is War" was surprised that the song was so slow? This is how I realized I had been listening to a remix my whole life. Oops. If I can find my old MP3 file I'll see about posting it.

This was also my first time hearing "Never Die." What a beautiful song! Luka always has the most beautiful ballads. I'm actually kind of surprised that I can't find any good English covers of the song?? Ugh annoying. Luka's songs need more love.

"M@GICAL☆CURE! LOVE SHOT!" was hype and great as usual. I actually stood up and danced for this one. Used up all my energy doing it but I had fun.

"Catch the wave" is a nice song but I only really listen to it when I am playing the Colorful Stage.

I had a lot of fun! Even if it wasn't as hype as last time. But I think when it comes to Miku Expo is more about the community. I loved talking to everyone in line and being in the same room.

I think concert glow sticks are kind of like viewing cherry blossom trees: its not the individual flowers that are beautiful but seeing the sea of color among all the trees together.

Being together with everyone and getting to see it was very magical and I just think it always will be.
