A reformed terrorist denies his dark past when abducted by a vengeful secret agent and dragged through central Australia on a road trip to hell.

SYNOPSIS

This dramatic thriller focuses on HASSAN JALBANI, a British born Indian who is enjoying his new peaceful existence in Brisbane with his loving wife AYANNA and young son, JAMAL. His daily routine of working in a suburban grocery store keeps his thoughts occupied and blocks out memories of the atrocities he once orchestrated in his previous life.

In an instant, a cold-blooded former MI6 agent, known as JADE, rocks Hassan to the core when she takes him by gunpoint and drags him through the backroads of regional country Queensland to the central Australian desert. Her mission: taking Hassan to meet with a vengeful father whose only son was a victim of the terrorist group, Al-Zahir. They are of the belief that Hassan is the man they are looking for, the former Al-Zahir terrorist, RAFAT KHAN... But is he?

The extreme distances, endless heat haze and choking dust of the highway are external forces that throw numerous obstacles into their path. Hassan and Jade's opposing allegiances and conflicting ideals keep them at odds throughout the journey, each enduring the other's worst nightmares. The weariness of the long days draws Jade to expose her misgivings from the past and Hassan to reveal that he is the man she suspects he is.

On arrival at the destination, the true and terrifying nature of the mission is revealed. It is not about a vengeful father but the location of the secretive headquarters of the enigmatic Al-Zahir leader, SAEED KHAN... Rafat’s younger brother. Saeed demands Hassan’s loyalty and for him to return to continue avenging the death of their younger brother from many years ago. Unbeknownst to all, Jade had been used as a tracking device by the British government to reveal the location of Al-Zahir. Hassan’s true loyalty is tested, and he discovers what it takes to be fully redeemed and must choose between family, peace and redemption.
