The Weekly Howl helps students understand the world around them. Members research important local, national and international events, then share what they learn in clear, well-sourced articles and visual summaries. Our goal is to build curiosity, critical thinking and strong writing, one story at a time.

Mr. Grayson — Faculty Advisor
Every article is reviewed by student editors and our faculty advisor before it's published. We hold ourselves to these standards:
Facts first: we clearly separate verified facts from opinions or predictions.
Multiple sources: every article uses at least two credible sources, cited at the end.
Fair and balanced: when a topic has several viewpoints, we represent them accurately.
Original work: no plagiarism. Quotes and images are credited.
Corrections: if we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction.
