Season 4, Episodes 1 - 3:

"The Lost Cat " (Parts 1, 2, and 3)

The Lost Cat is an award-winning original play written, directed, and performed by the Gr. 11/12 Drama class (2022). It was performed live at the National Theatre School Festival, the St. Patrick Drama Festival, and Mary Ward's Drama Night.

In one way, this is a story of a girl and her cat. In another way, this is a story of loss, acceptance, and learning to see people for who they really are.

"In My Place " (Parts 1 and 2)

"You can't know someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes", or so the saying goes. So the Gr. 10 Drama class did just that - using their classmates' shoes as inspiration for monologues about mental health.

"Global Legends" is a series of short scenes based on the myths and legends of China and the Philippines. In "The Kapre", a greedy tourist and a corrupt mayor plot to destroy a forest for profit...unless the mythical Kapre can stop them.

Performed by: Sharon Onebunne, Amanda Chua, Ruthika Kirupakaran, Chloe Corrales, and Leah Aquino.

""The Moon Goddess" is the classic Chinese myth of Houyi, the famous archer, and his wife Chang'e, who becomes the Moon Goddess. Can Houyi complete the Emperor's impossible task? Can Chang'e love her husband from a different world?

We return to the Philippines for our final tale, featuring The Manananggal - a terrifying vampire that splits in half to eat pregnant women. Can a foolish young wife and her Lola outwit the creature until sunrise?

"War is Home", by Gr. 10 Drama

The Gr. 10 Drama class uses three children's stories to create performances about what it means to be a refugee, displaced by war.
