Theuism was founded by poet and publishing artist Brandon McMahon in early 2014.

About Brandon McMahon:

I have a unique story that combines with my music and poetry. My mother died when I was 11 years old, I grew up in state custody, and went on to attend a well respected college... I write and publish music and poetry about how we live forever. I believe that the difference we make on the world before we die stays on Earth after we're gone and that this is immortality. My mother's death taught me that. I also have a rare form of schizophrenia and I've been hospitalized many times.
