The property is on a quiet road, the old toll road in the very friendly and attractive Welsh village of Cwmduad. Cwmduad is located on the A484 just north of Cynwyl Elfed. The village is found at the confluence of the River Duad and the River Bele. The nearest towns are Carmarthen to the South and Newcasle Emyln to the North.
The village has a pub, a visiting mobile post office, and grocery van. It is an ideal location for an outdoor break as the area is exceptional for walking, cycling, riding and exploring the unspoilt countryside.
In any documentation of the village’s history there is always a mention of the toll gate, which is still part of the property today.
