Jessica Hubbard

Tizane Sharpe

Seniors Jessica and Tizane were invited to attend "Becoming: An Intimate Conversation with Michelle Obama" where former First Lady Michelle Obama talked about her newly released book. The experience was far more then a book reading, as Jessica had thought it to be. The girls said it was motivational and inspiring. Jessica said the most valuable advice she gave was about education because, coming from nothing she set a goal, followed a path and achieved it. Similarly, Tizane said the most valuable advice was to "Never give up on your dream because she basically came from nowhere and made it as First Lady. Emily orellana

Titanes Salseros President, Emily Orellana recieved the Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congressman Jamie Raskin in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month and Employ Commitment to Community Service, Leadership, and Academic Excellence. Emily says that "being part of the Latin dance team has encouraged [her] to spread [her] love for Latin culture with elementary and middle schoolers."

Jamie Reyes

Senior Jamie Reyes, along with Emily Orellana was presented with the Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition by Congressman Jamie Raskin. She says that she has always "emphasized the importance of her culture" in everything she does and that she has "worked hard for [her] goals to come true."

Private garcia

Private Garcia graduated from Albert Einstein High School in 2018. His Social Studies teacher and prior Marine Corporal, Mr. Gelner, guided him through his path to becoming a United States Marine.

Meet The Admin

Dr. Webb

Dr. Webb was born in Washington, D.C, and was raised in Montgomery County. She obtained her undergraduate and bachelor's degrees at Hood College and her doctoral degree at John Hopkins University. Outside of school, she is an academic advisor for doctoral students at John Hopkins University. Her favorite pastimes include reading, interior design, and working on dollhouse miniatures. Her favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. When asked how her experience at Einstein has been so far she responded that the kids were wonderful and the staff and students are very welcoming here. Dr. Webb plans to learn more about the school and ensure that students are receiving the instructional program they need in order to be successful later in life. Before Einstein, she has worked at Redland Middle School, Paint Branch High School, Francis Scott Key Middle School, Martin Luther King Middle School, and John Poole Middle School. She thinks that Einstein students are very polite and she enjoys the population here. So, if you see Dr. Webb in the hallways, feel free to introduce yourself.

Mr. Collins

Mr.Collins was born and raised in Prince Anne, Maryland near Salisbury. He attended University of Maryland Eastern Shore, North Carolina A&T State, and McDaniel College. He's been an administrator for 18 years. He's previously worked at Charles County, and other schools in MCPS. This is his 9th year at Einstein, he loves the Einstein community as well as the students. This year he is the 12th grade administrator, so he will strive to graduate every single senior on time. He will ensure every senior has met their SSL requirements and passes the HSA and the PARCC. In his free time,he enjoys photography. He believes Einstein is at the top of the hill and it sets the pace for local middle schools. He believes this helps the incoming freshmen be successful.

Mrs. Snead

Mrs. Snead was born in Sussex County, Delaware. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and earned her graduates degree from George Washington University in educational leadership and administration. Mrs. Sneads’ goals at Einstein is not to necessarily change anything but to bring consistency to programs and to build relationships with all students. When asked about what led her to Einstein she said that her program led her to apply everywhere, but Einstein felt family oriented and she loved the culture here. We asked the question, “How has your experience been so far at Einstein?” she confidently responded saying that it has been “awesome” and would not trade it for anything.


Mrs. Pierresaint-walla

Mrs.PierreSaint-Walla was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and moved to the U.S. when she was 7 years old. She has a degree in Consumer Economics from University of Maryland, a degree in Elementary School Education, and a masters degree in school counseling, both from Bowie State University. Her hobbies outside of school include: taking care of her two teenagers, traveling, going out to dinner, relaxing, and shopping. She also loves listening to music. This is her 20th year in Montgomery County and before coming to Einstein she worked at Silver Spring International Middle School, Gaithersburg Middle School, North Bethesda Middle School, as well as a few other local Elementary Schools.

“I had always wanted to work with high schoolers, which is what brought me to Einstein.” said Mrs. PierreSaint-Walla. The diversity and community aspect of Einstein also intrigued her. Her goal for this school year is to get a better understanding of the “Einstein Way” and to improve our programs while being able to put her spin on things.


MEET THE NEWBIES

Ms. lopez

Ms. Lopez was born in Montgomery County. She graduated from Springbrook High School and Edison. She decided to work at Einstein due to the wonderful things she heard about it and how it is the place to be. She passionately states how she is, “proud to be apart of the community” at AEHS. She really, “Enjoys teaching and seeing growth in students. It's fun!”


Ms. o'donnell

Ms. O’Donnell grew up in Olney, Md where she currently lives now. She went to school for Education/Communications and to be a Reading Diagnostician. She graduated from the University of Maryland and George Washington University. About 6 years ago when she visited a Co-ed volleyball game at Einstein, she knew immediately that, “AEHS is The Place to Be.” She believes that AEHS students have the,”It factor” & “synergy.” She decided to become a teacher because she believes, “knowing how to read and write is essential to life.” She also has a strong passion for reading and writing. Currently she is, “trying to become more skillful at building students interest in literacy for a quality of life.”

Mrs. Monroe grew up in Bel Air, Md. She got her bachelors from Mount St. Mary's University and her Masters from George Washington University. She decided to work at AEHS because she believes Einstein is awesome and has been very welcoming towards her. She excitedly states that her, “resource teacher really supported [her on her] first week.” She is a life long learner and would like to share her passion with students.


ms. islam

Ms. Islam grew up in Glasgow, Scotland. She graduated from school in Edinburgh, Scotland. She specifically moved to Kensington, Md to work at AEHS. She really believes AEHS is the place to be. She decided to become a teacher because she believes that it is “a privilege to work with young people and be apart of them developing the skills they need to be successful.” Although teaching is tiring she believes it is worth it and that it is, “the best job in the world.”


mr. sarabia

Mr. Sarabia grew up in Eagle Pass, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio. A friend of his recommended him to work at Einstein so he applied. He emphasizes that although the first week was kind of hectic, he has, “an awesome math team here [at Einstein] to help [him].” He decided to follow his mother's footsteps in becoming a teacher.
