The Tinker Table was born out of my own classroom experience—juggling real-world teaching with a deep desire to create meaningful, hands-on learning that actually works.
As both an educator and a mom, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when students feel confident exploring, building, and problem-solving with what they already have. I created The Tinker Table to share that mindset with others—to make creativity, design, and technology (yes, even AI!) feel approachable and empowering for teachers, teams, and everyday learners.
My teaching philosophy is simple: make it meaningful, make it doable, and make it stick. Whether I’m working with students, schools, or small businesses, I believe in the power of accessible tools (including AI), curiosity-fueled learning, and creative problem-solving that works in the real world—not just on paper.
