Titanne Steps Down from PCT Chairship, Considers Merging the PCT with the TPU

After winning the Presidency, Titanne says "I’m resigning as Chair to focus on the Presidemcy. We’ll maybe merge with TPU and maybe pick a new chair but Biggs and Creckelenney were the only ones I trusted enough to run it. I don’t want to dissolve since we’re so big but I don’t wanna leave it to stagnate."

Titanne just announced on the RMB that, "I’m gonna be stepping down as PCT chair so yeah. Currently making plans for the future of the party." According to multiple sources within the party including Titanne and Saint Alban Islands, those plans could include a merge with the TPU. In a telegram to the party, Titanne wrote that he wanted to "let the members decide if they want the merger or remain independent and have election for a new chairman" according to Saint Alban Islands.

Antenion, the Chair of the TPU said, "Yeah, Titanne is reaching out to me about the merger. He says he wants to step down ... because of the Presidency, but we don't know the terms."

The Bigtopia, current Deputy Chair of the PCT who is working on forming his own party, the Liberty Party of Thaecia, said, "Well dude there better be referendums on both sides" and "idk why PCT would merge into the TPU when the PCT is bigger and more active."

Meanwhile, another Thaecian leader, Cerdenia has commented accusing the move of being a power grab.
