After graduating from LSU in 2008 with a degree in International Studies, Rebecca Stephenson, the owner of The Tasty Tray, packed up and moved to Cadiz, Spain. When not working, she was traveling and enjoying the local cuisine with friends, which included Tapas each and everyday. This is where she was introduced to a new world of flavors and experiences beyond what she knew in Louisiana. When she returned home, she began making Tapas boards to replicate what she was served in Spain. She would include cured meat, a variety of cheeses, olives, toast, and a sweet that her friends back home had never experienced. This eventually evolved into making beautiful and unique charcuterie boards. What was started as a hobby and a way to introduce her friends and family to new flavor profiles, has turned into a fun and enjoyable business!
