GO-TO-HIGHSCHOOL, GO-TO-COLLEGE

Encouraging the completion of secondary and post-secondary education is a cornerstone of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc..

Through the national Go-To-Highschool, Go-To-College program, the brothers of the Theta Rho chapter help sustain this mission through volunteering and engaging with the Richmond youth in local schools and in the community. Through service and support, the light of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. shines bright for the next generation.

BROTHER'S KEEPER

The A. Charles Haston Brother's Keeper Program was founded with a mission to provide quality of life for aging or disabled Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc, brothers and their families. The Theta Rho Chapter supports these senior brothers through acts of service and property maintenance. When the light of older generations dim, Theta Rho brothers are there to sustain the flame and uphold the Alpha Phi Alpha mission.

PROJECT ALPHA

The goal of Project Alpha is to aid in the development of teenage boys (12-15) to men of distinction through foundational support, mentorship, and navigating difficult topics like sexual education and teen pregnancy prevention. Within the Richmond community, Theta Rho engages with teens to ensure they are equipped to step into manhood

A VOTELESS PEOPLE IS A HOPELESS PEOPLE

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. recognizes the long and difficult road to the ballot that African-Americans have historically faced. In part to honor this legacy, A Voteless People is a Hopeless People aims to provide both voter education and empowerment in an ever-changing political climate. Theta Rho chapter achieves this through driving conversations on current issues and student voter rights on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University.
