Artist Statement

I'm Erin Barry, the mother of three happy, tacky, sticky, messy children who bring my life light and joy! It's my mission to spread that joy to others. Finding happiness in everyday things and seeing the art in the ordinary is how I accomplish this goal! I paint what I love and what makes me happy, this may seem tacky but that's the point. Life is too short to worry about what others think, we need to do what makes us happy! If i can help others find their happiness through my art and my actions, then I consider myself a successful artist and a successful human being. So get happy, get sticky, get messy, get tacky!
