Traveling to Davis by car is fairly straightforward.
From the North, East, or West Bay Area:take I-80 East toward Sacramento, to Davis, then exit northbound Highway 113 toward Woodland
From the South Bay Area: take I-580 East to I-5, then I-5 North to Sacramento, then I-80 West to Davis, then exit northbound Highway 113 toward Woodland
From Southern California: then I-5 North to Sacramento, then I-80 West to Davis, then exit northbound Highway 113 toward Woodland
From Northern California: take I-5 South toward Sacramento, then exit on Hwy 113 southbound to Davis
From the Sierra Nevada/Tahoe/Reno area: take I-80 West to Davis, then exit northbound Highway 113 toward Woodland
Then (all directions): Exit at Russell Blvd; turn right onto Russell Blvd. and proceed to campus

Exit airport grounds to I-5
Take I-5 south towards Sacramento/Yuba City, drive about 8 miles
Exit westbound I-80 West towards San Francisco, drive about 16 miles
Exit northbound Highway 113 toward Woodland
Exit at Russell Blvd; turn right onto Russell Blvd.
Travel Time: approximately 35 minutes.

Amtrak trains travel through Davis every day. The Davis Amtrak Passenger Station is located in downtown Davis, at 840 Second Street (nearest the intersection of Second Street and G Street). The walk from the Amtrak Station to the edge of campus takes about 10-15 minutes.
The Yolobus Intercity Loop provides service between Sacramento, West Sacramento, Davis, Woodland, and the Sacramento International Airport. Yolobus runs transportation on its Intercity Loop in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions every day.
In town, Unitrans offers daily bus service, with over a dozen routes servicing the City of Davis and the UC Davis campus.
