The story goes that the Theta Chapter house was transferred brick by brick from the original campus of, then, Stewart College in Clarksville, TN to the current campus of Rhodes in 1923. That campus is the present-day home of Austin Peay State University. We are currently researching the full history of our house and will post the information here as we learn more about it. The house has undergone a few, known, renovations: the moving of the house in 1923, the renovation of the house (and addition of the president's room) in 1940, and the addition of the rear wing in 1964. The floor of the chapter room is capped with 3" thick Tennessee river flats from the river bordering the original campus in Clarksville.
