I became a licensed real estate agent with Drake Realty in 2007 after moving to Metro Atlanta from Philadelphia, PA. Initially, I used the knowledge and resources that I gained by obtaining my license to become a real estate investor. A year later the housing market crashed and I began teaching elementary school in Clayton County.
I left teaching in 2012 after teaching for 5 years in Clayton County and South Fulton County and began working full-time as a real estate agent. Since then I've helped countless renters, buyers, and sellers achieve their goals.
I completed my doctorate of education degree with a concentration in organizational leadership in 2016. My passions and interests in social justice and environmental sustainability evolved significantly over the years and that led to me pursuing several initiatives along side real estate that satisfied my desire to make positive difference in my community and in the world.
In 2019 I figured out how to integrate my passions for teaching, helping others, social justice, and environmental sustainability into my real estate business by branding myself The Sustainability Agent and incorporating social and environmental sustainability practices into my business.
