Post-Season Update - April 03, 2023

Welcome back people of The Stone! My name is Lav. I have the prestigious honor of being the spring 2023 intern here at The Stone. I am a junior at Georgia Tech, studying Media and Marketing, with a minor in World Religion and an emphasis in Taoism. I am taking online classes at the moment though so I can be here in Bozeman learning from the best of the best about how to turn outdoor pursuits into a lucrative lifestyle. Updating the blog, responding to YouTube comments, cleaning the house, and servicing the generator are just some of my daily duties alongside learning Premiere Pro, how to tie flies, and taking an Avalanche Rescue Level 4.

This season we've had some changes here at The Stone. As I'm sure the Backcountry Days fans are aware, Langdon is living in Washington for the time being. He had a very gnarly sledding accident earlier this season, but he is healing up well and will make a full recovery. Michael won the first stop of the World Tour this season in Baqueira-Beret and had solid showings in some of his other events. He has requalified for next season and is looking forward to sending it yet again. Warren has the honor of joining him next season as he took wins in Kicking Horse, Crystal, and Taos qualifying him for the FWT 2024. Stay tuned for some media from Europe next year where the boys are gonna be a menace to society. Sam and Matt are both still in school. Sam will be graduating in the spring with a degree in sustainable foods and bioenergy systems. Matt is going to be a super-super-super 5th-year senior.

This season we've released five Bridger Days episodes and two Big Sky Days episodes, but fear not, there are many more episodes in the works. Stay tuned for more Bridger, Big Sky, and Backcountry Days coming soon.

In other prospects, The Stone is considering starting up an online store for shirts and stickers featuring some of your favorite one-liners and raunchy remarks. If there is interest, let us know by emailing 406thestone@gmail.com.
