Sprint is a community which brings together entrepreneurial people to build and test an idea extremely quickly. Sprint was inspired by this Nikita Bier tweet: https://twitter.com/nikitabier/status/1708513023990645011
We just want to verify quality people - so if you can demonstrate that you're the kind of person who would be a force of nature to work alongside, then Sprint is for you. There's nothing too specific we can advise here.
No. The rationale is that you will focus so hard on the project and there will be so much to cover that a separate Sprinter will be required for each role - you may apply to different projects in different roles however.
No. Again, the rationale is that to go fully hard on each area will require a different Sprinter in each capacity. That doesn't mean that you have to limit yourself to working as either a Backend, Frontend, or CEO - you can always share tasks.
Unfortunately, this will be the case with some teams, however it is also the case with life. If two Sprinters agree that they'd rather move on without the third Sprinter then they are allowed to do so under Sprint rules. Some projects will set up legal structures and so on, but we will not be involved.
Rolling deadline. But if the project doesn't have all three members before the 1st of the next month, it shouldn't begin until the following Sprint (not that we can - or will - do much to stop you).
Each team has 3 members. A frontend developer, a backend developer, and a CEO. The front and backend developer roles are self-explanatory. The CEO's role is less defined - in the words of Nikita Bier, the CEO will take care of "product design, marketing, communications, accounting, formation, tax, customer support & cooking".
No. Projects are limited to three for a few good reasons; accountability and responsibility must be kept high and it's easier to be deadweight in a larger team. Secondly, speed is encouraged, and large ships are less agile. Finally, if your project gets traction, we want you to get a deserved payout. That being said, following Sprint you may control your project how you desire - your larger team just won't be facilitated by Sprint.
No. We want to encourage the idea that you, as a Sprinter, are commited to giving your all to that project for the Sprint. Within the Sprint your team may iterate, which is encouraged, but jumping from ship to ship during a Sprint is banned. You can always join a new team for the next Sprint.
Each Sprint lasts two months. A new Sprint begins on the first of every month.
Sprint is not putting forward any legal structure. But if your team is forming, we recommend an equal split, regardless of who came up with the idea.
If you make money, yes you may pay yourself.
