The Chronicles of Crow is an autobiographic collection, of many events from my perspective; in short, a memoir. I have decided to write these events now as others may find this information useful and with the hindsight of my whole life behind me, I feel like now would be the most appropriate time to pen various points of my life.
But you may ask what do you, dear reader, gain personally? This, I cannot pretend to know, but I do hope that it inspires thought, reflection, or some sort of further understanding relating to anything that could be any use to you. However, what I do know is that within the following words of the chronicles lay my final rest and certain retirement from the mortal worlds - hopefully.
- Corrbrias Cthoth
On the 25th of December in 1530 I was born - under the name Beollán Ward - in Ireland.
My birth was quick and painless. Although, this was no surprise to my mother and father. Being both entities of extreme power, the birthing process and its ease were not only dictated by them, but entirely optional. One could assume that it was something done because they thought that it would prompt more of a connection with their child - but even this is a flimsy conclusion to make. Unfortunately, even the questionably-wanted connection never came to pass, and after having the misfortune of knowing them, I would say it was no more than a flaunt of ability. Perhaps it would even be fair to say it was a vague amusement to feed their ego. Afterall, childbirth was nothing challenging for the likes of them; a performance whose actors cared not for those who they were imitating, and wilfully apathetic to the life-changing, even life-ending, reality and consequences that followed suit for everyone else.
Lilith and Godric Ward were not good parents.
