Background and History

Demons and humans traditionally despised one another, living in mutual enmity for generations. However, defying this deep-seated hatred, a demon and a human found themselves in love. From their union was born NaïKu, a child who embodied both their worlds.

Initially, NaïKu appeared to be a simple demon with a cat-like form. His early days were marked by uncertainty and fear. However, his life changed when a young boy named Moki discovered him. Despite NaïKu’s initial trepidation, fearing Moki might be a threat, he soon realized that Moki was simply extending a hand of friendship. Over time, NaïKu allowed Moki to pet him, gradually growing more comfortable in his presence.

As days turned into weeks, their bond deepened. NaïKu transformed, adopting a new appearance that combined elements of both demon and human traits. He became entirely black, with large, round white eyes that were simultaneously eerie and captivating. Moki was initially taken aback by this change, but their connection only grew stronger.

One day, Moki embraced NaïKu for the first time. In that moment, something extraordinary happened. NaïKu's form shifted, revealing a hybrid appearance: his left side became human while his right side remained demon. This transformation marked a pivotal moment for NaïKu—he fell deeply in love with Moki, his feelings evolving from a mere connection to profound affection. This newfound love was both a revelation and a commitment, binding NaïKu to Moki in a way that transcended their disparate origins.
