Background and History

When the Cross attacked, Shoku knew it was the end for her and Zetsu. Instead of killing them, their captors decided to imprison them, finding their powers too intriguing to destroy. In the chaos, Zetsu lost an arm, a constant reminder of their close brush with death.

Separated from Zetsu at the base, Shoku was left alone and overwhelmed by fear. The harsh reality of the Cross set in quickly: the brutal conditions, severe punishments, and rigid ranking system were unbearable. The sense of abandonment grew heavier each day, especially as she heard of Zetsu and his new friend, Zephyr, who seemed to be faring better.

As time passed, Shoku's hope that Zetsu would come for her began to fade. The crushing belief that her brother had forgotten about her turned her despair into anger. This bitterness festered, twisting her heart and fueling a deep-seated rage.

By the time Zetsu and Zephyr finally escaped, Shoku was no longer the same person. The isolation and brutality had hardened her. The notion that Zetsu had moved on without her while she remained trapped ignited a burning resentment. She embraced the darkness that had taken root within her, channeling her anger into becoming a formidable and feared member of the Cross.

Now, as a dangerous figure within the organization, Shoku is driven by the pain of abandonment. Her transformation into a ruthless agent of the Cross is a testament to her resolve to prove that she cannot be forgotten or underestimated.
