Here we go. The day had finally come. Eucalyptus, Shaya, Zephyr, Moki, and NaïKu were headed to Litkesb to recruit the Organization of the Tear. Everyone was anxious. Kathi took her time gathering useful supplies—food, bandages, and various essentials. Eucalyptus, naturally, was touched by the gesture. In a rare moment, she hugged Kathi, catching her off guard. Kathi was so surprised, but couldn’t resist hugging her back, though inside she was quietly overwhelmed with worry.
The five of them were to sail to Libstek on a small but sturdy boat. Friends and companions gathered to see them off, hoping they would return safely. Hands waved in farewell, and NaïKu held Moki’s hand, smiling softly at his boyfriend’s comforting touch.
As the boat finally drifted away into the sea, Luciole and Elsa embraced, the two twins sharing a deep sense of worry. They weren’t alone in their concern—MaïRu also stood by, troubled. Deep down, they all knew the truth: there was a real possibility the group might not come back. The thought alone sent a chill through everyone.
Onboard, the atmosphere was tense, though Eucalyptus, as always, tried to lighten the mood with her silly jokes and offbeat comments. Even Zephyr, after an hour or so, began to tease again, calling Moki “kiddo” like usual.
“Have you ever actually called me Moki?” Moki asked, rolling his eyes.
“Hmm, I don’t think so,” Shaya chuckled softly. Zephyr smirked, almost proud that he'd never once used Moki’s real name, only silly nicknames since they’d met months ago.
For a while, the mood lifted. But as soon as Libstek came into view, tension gripped the group once more. No one knew what awaited them on the island. They weren’t even sure they’d survive. But one thing was clear: to save Orstyma from the Cross, they had to recruit every organization, even the most dangerous and mysterious ones.
Eucalyptus sighed as they packed their belongings, ready to face what lay ahead. They had finally arrived.
