The Sleaze are a 4 piece band from Dublin Ireland, forming over a mutual love of rock and blues. Taking influence from bands Such as The Doors and Thin Lizzy, The Sleaze put on a high-energy live performance. Though they love playing in-your-face rock n roll which can be heard on tracks like 'Tell Me I'm Wrong' they love music like Country also, which can be heard come through on tracks such as 'Born on the wrong side' or 'Sometimes I feel'. They are starting to make a name for themselves, being added to Radio Nova's "Hot Irish acts for '23" and Winning their Hometown Hero award, as well as having a few write-ups in Hotpress magazine and being added to their staff's playlist. They have played in lots of venues in Dublin such as The Grand Social, Workmans, The Bello Bar, The Sugar Club, and The Lighthouse, playing with Artists such as The Scratch, TV People, and more while also having their Music played on Radio stations Like Radio Nova, Dub X, and 92.5 Phoenix FM to name a few.
They have just recently put out their latest single 'Work It Out' and their 2nd music video to accompany it.
The song’s groovy beat and blend of guitar and drum magic make for a perfect spring track.
The new song tells the story of two lovers, Jackie and Johnny, as they navigate the tough times in their relationship.
The Dublin band was recently selected as regional finalists for Radio Nova’s A New Local Hero talent search.
“The song’s melancholic confessional recital nearly reads as though lyrics that were scrawled on the inside of bathroom walls, offering comfort and a shared experience to a generation struggling.”
