Structure Of Project
This project is divided into three separate levels. These levels were designed with the horror genre in mind and are connected to each other. Each level has three different paths for the player to take that use different design elements that can affect how players interact with the mechanics and game world.
Each level varies in difficultly of navigation and mechanics that have the ability to influence players as they navigate towards the level objective. This is important to the research project and to me as a level designer.
Easter Eggs
There are three Easter eggs that are available for the player to engage with throughout the environments. These are discussed in the 'Research' section of this website.
All Easter eggs result in the alien creature being removed from the level. This allows the players to explore the environment with little pressure.
