Welcome to the official website of the South Carolina Game Theory Conference (SCGTC2025), hosted by the Department of Economics at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.
The specific topic of this year's workshop, held on August 6-7, 2025, is Advances in Contest Theory.
We welcome submissions related to contest theory, including theoretical, experimental, and empirical investigations. Contributions from any discipline are encouraged, including those from economics, political science, biology, sports, psychology, etc.
Extended abstracts must be submitted by May 16th 2025 via the following Google Form.
Decisions about the submissions will be made by May 23ʳᵈ 2025.
There is a registration fee of $100. Coffee breaks, lunch breaks, and a conference dinner will be provided to all participants.
The keynote speaker this year is Dr. Brian Roberson.
Dr. Brian Roberson is a Professor of Economics and Political Science at the Daniels School of Business, Purdue University. He is an expert in the field of game theory and has made many key contributions to the field of contest theory.
