Santer lab

Welcome

The Santer lab opened November 1, 2020 in the Department of Immunology at the University of Manitoba.

Our research aims to uncover mechanisms of how immune responses are regulated at both cellular and molecular levels. Specifically, we are focusing on how type III interferons (IFNs) inhibit viruses (eg. influenza, SARS-CoV-2), and regulate human innate and adaptive immune cell activation.

The Santer lab is recruiting another 2 graduate students for Fall 2024 and/or Winter 2025. We also welcome postdoctoral fellow applications!
