Lynn Conley is a mother, grandmother, and lifelong believer in the power of kindness. She wanted to bring a fresh sparkle to the legend of Santa Claus by reimagining Santa’s famous Naughty and Nice list.  In The Santa Rock, Lynn invites children everywhere to become active participants in the Christmas Spirit through acts of kindness. With a heart full of wonder and a storyteller’s touch, Lynn explores the question that has puzzled children for generations: Why coal in the stockings? Cynthia Fong Smith, a mother and an educator, who has seen the Christmas spirit fade over time. To help bring it back, she collaborated on a book that requires active participation by children to use kindness to preserve the meaning of Christmas.She included a simple rock in the story to remind children to do heartfelt Acts of Love. Santa’s interaction with his elves and reindeer makes the story fun and exciting for everyone on this Christmas adventure.
