I was born and raised in the Bay Area and have always had passion for design and creativity.

After I retired from my lifelong career as a software engineer in 2015, I started building and created The Rustic Finish in 2018.

I run my one-women shop out of my home in

San Jose, California. My interests include upcycling "street finds", chalk painting furniture, interior design, woodworking, crafting, designing and creating one of a kind pieces.
