Use of Your Personal Data

We may use Your personal data for the following purposes:

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share personal data with third parties unless necessary for the operation of the app or as required by law. We may share data in the following situations:

Sharing data with service providers to support business operations, including:

Other sharing scenarios include:

Data Storage and Cross-border Transfer

Device warranty registration

To establish device warranty records, verify warranty status and prevent duplicate or forged registrations, we send the actual serial number (SN or DID) of the connected external device, its model and app version, and necessary verification information such as the app distribution identifier, request time, random verification value and signature to the warranty service operated by the Company identified in this policy. The serial number identifies the connected external device, such as a thermal imager, not the phone itself. This device identifier is not anonymous data. The server records the first successful registration time and related warranty information. The registration request does not include captured photos, videos or audio.

Registration is automatically enabled as part of the device service and cannot be separately turned off. After a successful connection and reading the actual serial number, a request is sent if no successful registration marker is stored locally. When connected to a device hotspot without Internet access, the app may use cellular data and incur a small data charge. A failed upload does not affect connection, preview, photos or recording. The app does not automatically retry during that attempt; it may try again during a later use. After a new or duplicate registration has been verified successfully, the app stores a success marker for that serial number locally to avoid repeated requests, normally until the app is uninstalled or its data is cleared. After reinstallation, the app may submit the serial number again; a duplicate registration does not reset the first registration time. Diagnostic data settings do not control warranty registration.

The Company identified in this policy is responsible for warranty registration data, which is stored in Shenzhen, Guangdong, People’s Republic of China. Data from users outside China is transferred to China. Registration requests use HTTPS encryption and signature verification. This storage location applies only to warranty registration data; other services are described separately in this policy.

Server warranty records are retained until 3 years after the applicable warranty expires. Unresolved after-sales disputes or applicable legal requirements may require further retention, limited to the necessary scope and period. Records are deleted or anonymised when the retention period ends and no further retention is necessary. Uninstalling the app or clearing local data does not automatically delete server records.

The app does not provide a self-service button for deleting warranty records. You may request access, correction or deletion of information relating to you through the relevant Company’s website or email listed under “Contact Us” in this policy. After necessary verification, we will handle the request under applicable law and actual retention needs, and explain the outcome and any reason and period for continued retention. A deletion request does not reset or extend the warranty.

Other legal requirements

The Company may disclose Your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Security of Your Personal Data

The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

You can manage data collection in the following ways:
