Shed

Shed is the first album released by Riolozo on July 29, 2024. It is my first major discography release and was met with solid appreciation upon its premiere.

I started this album on May 14, 2023, and finished it on July 29, 2024, the same day it was released.

I'm pretty proud of this one, especially for it being my first album.

If God Is a God initially started as a poem I wrote in, I think, my Sophomore year of high school.

I took this picture of a butterfly on my neighbor's shed. That butterfly kind of became my brand, I guess. I love that picture. Looking back, I would've picked a better font lol.

I recently (9/3/26) tried to list all eight songs on this album, and I could list all but Covered In Your Mud. Whoops!

I recorded Deer Meat, Fighting Spirit, and Don't Leave Without Yourself in the same session, spanning only around 5 takes in total.

Fighting Spirit is mostly improvised, though not lyrically dense.

Lost Our Minds and Your Light were written around the same time (if not the same day) and took around seven months to produce. It was my first time really experimenting with different sounds and what I could do musically. I hadn't produced anything like them before, and they hold up way better than most of my later discography.
