Ph.D. Candidate, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology

University of California, Santa Cruz

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Costa Lab in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

My main interests are the ecology of marine mammals, especially cetaceans, carrying out research that informs conservation and management efforts, and teaching about the marine environment and how we can protect it.

My current research focuses on the feeding and foraging behavior of bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) in Sarasota Bay, Florida, where I work in collaboration with the Sarasota Dolphin Research Program.

Please feel free to contact me by email at ttatomna@ucsc.edu.
