The Release Movement is a 501(c)(3) located in Wilson, NC. The purpose of this organization is to advance public awareness of self-care and its essential role in mental health. To be a support system, educating and providing resources that will lower crime and suicide rates. We will provide educational films, workshops, free therapy, confidence-building, and access to mental health resources. The Release Movement will offer in-house seminars, group sessions, and mentorship. We will travel to communities to educate about the importance of self-care and mental health, and to provide access to practical recovery tools. The Release Movement Organization is designed to advocate for mental health by empowering individuals to practice self-care and their journey towards emotional release and well-being through encouragement of participants to confront mental health struggles in their lives, giving those situations less power.
