PRM supports a transition to a federal parliamentary system. The movement believes this structure will strengthen democratic accountability, limit personality-driven politics, and empower regions through decentralized governance. Under this system, political authority would be shared between a national government and autonomous federal states, while executive leadership would come from a prime minister chosen by parliament rather than a single presidential figure. PRM views this model as a way to improve political stability, enhance public service efficiency, and promote balanced regional development across the country.

PRM positions itself on the center left to left wing of the political spectrum. It promotes socially progressive policies such as gender equality, LGBT rights, secular governance, and expanded civil liberties. Economically, PRM supports a mixed market economy that encourages responsible liberalization while protecting labor rights and promoting inclusive growth. The movement also prioritizes anti-dynasty reforms, democratic accountability, and people-centered governance focused on fairness, transparency, and long-term national development.
