Aluminum and gold-filled pieces will not tarnish or chip, and can be cleaned with a non-abrasive soft cloth. Occasionally wipe clean with a damp cloth to remove dead skin and any other dirt accrual.
Sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time due to various factors including (but not limited to) moisture and humidity. Some lotions and oils can cause your pieces to tarnish even quicker. To remove tarnish and oxidation, wipe clean with a mild abrasive jewelry cloth or a gentle microfiber cloth.
Looking for a cloth that can be used to clean your jewelry? This cloth can be used DRY (do not get wet) to clean and polish many different metals (aluminum, sterling silver, and gold).
