50 years later after their first trip to the USSR in 1974.
The Rebel Coat focuses on their 1975 scientific and cultural six-month unprecedented journey of 20, 000 miles throughout the Soviet Union.
When we arrived back home after our six-month scientific and cultural adventure, we were asked to write a series of articles about our trip for our local newspaper, The Oak Ridger. Every day for a full week, our story was given full exclusive coverage on the front and second pages. The letter to the editor on the left refers to those articles.
