Hello, I am Domino Leuchke.

 I am a senior at Kansas City Academy. When I first faced this social justice project, I knew I  wanted to create something that could be a more permanent resource that wouldn't be a fix to a short-term problem. I wanted to make a change that would last. My website is based on a research paper I did about the importance of representation in developing children and how what we consume as children shapes how we see the world when we are older. Being surrounded by diversity and other cultures teaches empathy, curiosity about other religions, social empathy, and kindness. Learning from others' mistakes and stories is how we grow as a society. And that way of thinking is what inspired me to create this website.
