Holly Hassel is Professor of English at North Dakota State University and Director of the First-Year Writing Program. She taught for 16 years at the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County, a two-year college in Wausau, WI. She has served as editor of Teaching English in the Two-Year College, as chair of the Conference on College Composition and Communication, and is the editor and author of many books and collections. Most recently, she co-edited Transformations: Change Work across Writing Programs, Pedagogies, and Practices with Kirsti Cole, Materiality and Writing Studies: Aligning Labor, Scholarship, and Teaching (with Cassie Phillips), and is coauthor of A Faculty Guidebook for Effective Shared Governance and Service in Higher Education with Kirsti Cole and Joanne Baird Giordano.
Kate Pantelides is Associate Professor of English at Middle Tennessee State University and Director of General Education English. Her research addresses rhetorical genre studies, writing research methods, feminist rhetoric, and writing program administration. Dr. Pantelides’ work has been published in College Composition and Communication, Composition Studies, Computers and Composition: An International Journal, and Composition Forum, among other venues. Her recent co-authored textbook with Jennifer Clary-Lemon and Derek Mueller, Try This: Research Methods is available digitally.
