Therapeutic Art for Heathcare Professionals
The 2024 Sessions will be offered at Careyes Private Villas in Jalisco, Mexico.
This multi-session course is designed to provide medical professionals with a creative outlet to cope with burnout, reduce stress, and build resiliency through processes and practices they can use in their every day lives. Through guided sessions, participants will explore a variety of art forms, including painting, drawing, journaling, music, and movement.
Improve self-awareness. The arts can help you to better understand your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. This can be helpful in identifying and addressing the root causes of stress and burnout.
Increase self-compassion. The arts can help you to develop a more compassionate and understanding relationship with yourself. This can help you to be more patient and understanding with others, which can reduce stress and conflict.
Build resilience. The arts can help you to develop the skills and resources you need to cope with stress and adversity. This can make you more resilient in the face of challenges, both at work and in your personal life.
Improve communication skills. The arts can help you to develop your communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal. This can be helpful in building stronger relationships with your patients, colleagues, and loved ones.
Enhance creativity. The arts can help you to tap into your creativity and express yourself in new and innovative ways. This can lead to a more fulfilling and satisfying life.
